19x8.5/9.5 +30 all around but I feel I should have went 10.5 +35 or 38 in the rearNot a bad pic. Looking at these for my setup. What are the measurements on wheels and tires?
I've definitely seen better, but you can see the wheels fine.Terrible Picture but got my Stance SF03s on today
Nice. What size tires and rims. Is the supension stockTerrible Picture but got my Stance SF03s on today
Hey guys, this is my first post here so I'm sorry if this is the wrong thread. I recently bought a used 2018 GT2 AWD that came with Firestone Firehawk AS 225/45r18 squared tires from that dealership, but I want to spice up the look. I've done some research on the site and it's both useful and even more confusing at the same time. Many of you seem to have different OEM tire brands and setups and I'm not very confident in ordering my wheels without the understanding. Would switching from the 4 18x8.5" on the Firestone tires to a staggered Niche Misano Front: 20x9" and Rear: 20x10" on Michelin Pilot Sport All-Season 4's Front: 225/35r20 and Rear: 255:30r20 hurt anything? I'm not sure how the drivetrain would hold up to more rolling wheel mass in the rear versus the front, not to mention according to Michelin specs, the two new tires have an "overall Diameter" difference of .1 inches (10 revolutions per mile). Local tire shop isn't much help. Hope one of you can offer some advice
Great question. The 20" is a popular option for those of us fortunate not to having gaping potholes! 20x9 and 20 x10 won't affect the drive train. Most after market wheels are lighter than stock so the "added mass" is negligible once comparing the overall weights. The 225/255 will likely be far to stretched. I currently run 275 rear on a 9.5 which is just about right without looking stretched. An 8/8.5 split is what the car runs on stock tire sizes that you mentioned. I would recommend a 245/285 split on 20x9/20x10Hey guys, this is my first post here so I'm sorry if this is the wrong thread. Is that on an AWD? Can I "fix" / negate the overall diameter issue or is that not a concern?Great question. Mine is AWD but they all come stock Staggered. The overall diameter is usually a 3% ratio front to rear so a 10RPM isnt a concern. Is that on an AWD? Can I "fix" / negate the overall diameter issue or is that not a concern?
One last question, a 9" in the front won't afffect steering limits(?) would they? From my measurements (admittedly, crawling under the car with a dial caliper) I should have enough. I appreciate this so much Cadimac, thanks! I'll be sure to post pictures when I get themMine is AWD but they all come stock Staggered. Just be sure to get the proper offset for the front. +35 or better (personally running +30 on 8.5) just to ensure clearance on the brake caliper as the brembos are large and to avoid the tire rubbing on control arms. Anymore inwards (+40/45 etc) and you'll run into problems. . The Niches do fit as a 20x9 +35. The rear is no issue as we have loads of clearance. I'm not an expert by any means but feel free to scroll through as many people have asked the same questions. Happy shopping! (P.s) Aodhan makes a similar style wheel a bit lighter and more affordable (but you got to love niche)One last question, a 9" in the front won't afffect steering limits(?) would they? They remind me of my AodhansAny Canadians here have Braelin BR14 wheels? They look pretty much like Vossen HF5
Those are new wheels and first shipment is April/May so I doubt any body have those. I was shopping those for my girlfriend CX9 and we went with FC04 because of availability.Any Canadians here have Braelin BR14 wheels? They look pretty much like Vossen HF5.
I’d go with 285/30 since it’s closer size to 245/35. There are many AWD stingers with this setup and lowered. Try joining Stinger Facebook groups, they can help aswell.Hey guys, any help is appreciated here as I am fresh off the boat when it comes to wheel set ups.
My current set up is:
Fronts 20x9 +35 245/35
Rears 20x10 +40 245/35
I'm looking at changing my rear tire size to 285/30 OR 275/30. The 275s are off by about a quarter inch, 1%. Also contemplating lowering about an inch in the future at some point. Has anyone with AWD done this set up?
