am I correct in saying there was an error made in the press release today stating that the GT spec will offer " an instrument cluster that steps up to a 7-inch colour TFT-LCD screen"

From all the photos I have seen there is no Stinger with anything more than the 3.5 screen between the guages?

I have to say, no blind spot monitoring on the base is a bit weird but to not have it on the Si and price it like they have is really rich.

AEB on the Si and not on the S

Also KIA site says the GT has the 7" Colour Cluster and mentions a D Cut Steering wheel but no pictures there confirm it

The GT has a full colour HUD wouldn't that mean you would have a colour cluster as well .
Has anybody seen a price on the Pearl White paint option or the red leather ?

I ordered Pearl White with red leather but am yet to receive a price from the dealer.

Hi Tazztattoo. I to have ordered the GT in Chroma blue with the red napa leather. Where in Australia are you based.

my experience with dealer paint protection is that it's just an exorbitent cost for what is just a car detailer applying a coat of hard wax to the car. In this instance you're better off spending $80 at Supercheap or Autobahn to get a top quality wax like Autoglym High Definition and have enough product to apply it yourself twice a year for a few years. If you really want a show car finish also try the Autoglym clay bar and rapid detailer before applying the wax. Also beware the dealers can try and rope you in to going back to them every year to reapply the "paint protection system" (wax) which can be another expensive exercise.

I cant speak personally for the interior leather protection from the dealership but would would expect a similar scenario here as well?

Trying to minimise the additional cost. Including the tinting., but I found someone who can do the same tinting with 10year warranty for $300. He mainly does the performance cars....

While the exhaust can definitelywait..

I've applied ceramic coating several times. It makes my car easier to clean and I believe it protects the paint from harsh Russian winters. But 2000$?! It's absurdly costly.

If it is dealer price probably you want to check out a local detailing studio and apply several layers of Ceramic Pro or any other solution of your choice.
