Check this out!!! (ECS control module)

FYI, this item will be shipping out of Florida shortly... By me, of course...
May I suggest you include an add-a-fuse in the box? :) trying to figure out how to get this installed, auto shops are now required to be closed, Amazon is screwing up all my orders, it’s the one thing that would make this plug and play, without it, you still need to either have wire taps (which I have, but not sure what to tap), or source an extra piece. The manufacturer really should have included an add-a-fuse

thanks! I did order some from Amazon, but i was too anxious to install so I just tapped the white accessory wire.

I’ve only had one 20 minute test drive, and damn! that’s my favorite thing I’ve done to my suspension. Eibach springs and sways, endlinks and now this, I tried a few different combinations and while I don’t think I have it dialed yet, this is fantastic, I know for sure that I can get the suspension set up perfectly, 100% is a riot, somewhere +-80% is going to be the right place for the rears and a little softer up front with the prokit springs.

I can confirm that on the white accessory wire my settings are being maintained between drives.

no issues here, maybe the device doesn’t have power?

Light is on, my phone sees the Mando unit, but the app doesn't connect

Hmm, bizarre, check your OS settings, it’s possible the Mando app doesn’t have permission to use Bluetooth

How do those of you that are lowered like this?

I think the stock "Sport" setting is way too soft for my springs; wondering if those of you with stiffer springs have stiffened the dampening and rebound and noticed either a better ride or a bit more control?

I've been doing some reading and it sounds like there is a V1 and a V2 Mando firmware. The app apparently will say your firmware version during startup.

Officially, Firmware V2 adds Password function support and i30N, GV80 model support.

Anyone want to report what their version is and if they had any problems with their Mando remembering their settings?

I'll check my version when my Mando arrives and test it's ability to remember settings. Unfortunately, it sounds like the firmware is not field updateable.

I got my Mando yesterday, it's a V2.0. I wired it into the switched fuse labeled spare and it held it's settings overnight (verified by leaving it set to 100% stiff overnight).

nhcowboy28 asked me to do some testing with the Mando to see if it could give the Stinger a smoother ride on the softer settings.

In general, I found when I set the Mando extremely soft I got more of a "boat on ocean waves" feel than a smooth BMW 5 series ride.

The Mando did seem to work suitably for firming up the suspension softness I disliked. There's a cement section of freeway with recurring bumps (on every seam) that I regularly drive on. It used to make my Stinger feel like it was riding on small ocean waves. Kia's sport mode helped a little, but the Mando's Sport mode was able to firm it up enough to remove that feeling.

I give it my thumbs up.

Is there a way to update the firmware from v1.0?

Mine is v1.0
App version 1.07
