Has anyone seen any Stingers in the wild?

Maybe the black car started it then it daisy chained, and the car in-between left in the meantime. I'm really stretching to give any Stinger owner the benefit of the doubt :)
Too big a stretch for me. Since few-to-none of the Stinger drivers locally ever acknowledge my headlight flashes, thumbs ups, or other polite responses to our shared excellent taste in cars, I'm not really disposed to give anyone around here the benefit of the doubt. I'm coming to believe that they all got their cars by accident, have no idea how amazing they are, and don't realize that they and their owners deserve to be treated with the respect due a fellow owner.

Really! Once I returned to mine parked next to another one that I've frequently seen parked in the south 40 of that same lot (the owner evidently works there). As I loaded my groceries into the hatch, the driver of the other Stinger walked up. I looked up in his direction. I know I'm an old lady, and due to my mask he couldn't see my smile, but still, he looked straight through me (used to that) and straight through my shiny Stinger, and got in his and drove off before I could even open my mouth or close the hatch. C'mon! This guy doesn't deserve a Stinger. All he had to do was say "nice car."

I've had similar experiences. I've actually only had one other stinger driver look at my car when I was pacing them. Odd

Ah, well, I have to admit that most of the time I prefer not to engage with strangers (safest bet for "defenseless old ladies," haha), so I'm actually more surprised than disappointed, now that I think of it. ;)

Fair enough. I'm a big scary dude with a shaved head, now that I think about it that's probably why they won't respond... terror! :)

Yup... His rants are well argued. Sadly sometimes my attention span isn't up to par.

I do share his belief in right to repair completely. We've become a disposable society.

I was returning to my car and got really excited to see another Stinger pulling up diagonally opposite.
I couldn’t resist and walked up to the driver side door, I smiled behind my mask and said “ another Stinger driver “ a female looked up beaming, we introduced ourselves and she said “ I thought I recognised your car from the Kia Facebook group “
She reversed into the park next to me so we could get a couple of pics and we chatted away all things Stinger .I was so happy for the chat that I gifted her the black hot wheels stinger I had in my car.
Although she lives in Melbourne., her partner lives in my neck of the woods so we plan hopefully to catch up when the lock downs come to an end and we will go on a nice drive together

That's pretty wild, wearing masks, outside, at night, in an almost empty parking lot. May all you all be delivered from your afflictions. pray.5.webp

It’s compulsory to wear them outside at all times over here, only exemption is if you are exercising, thanks covid !

Not sure if the drops on the ground were there before .
If it is it's prolly just water from the A/C ... looks like there could be a puddle on the left behind the front wheel. Or just the ghost of a past parked car.

Well, its the middle of winter in Australia, unless it is an unusual heat wave, I don't know why the A/C would be running. Forecasted high today in Geelong, Australia is 75, don't know what the past few days have been, but tomorrow the forecast high is only 67 and it drops from there the next several days.
I suppose it could be running if the defroster is on.

75F or 75C... either way, that might be AC weather. If 75C, good luck :)

AC runs all the time with defrost on or climate control, to control humidity in the car.

September is our first day of spring, last few days have been lovely, sun out and warm not hot but it still getting cold in the evening.
Didn't notice the ac on but she could have had it on really low to control the humidity like the above post mentioned.
