Saw silver ceramic one in Niles, IL today ~13:30, turning south onto Lehigh from westbound Howard. Waved to the guy, got a strange look.
It seems to be the norm for me as well. For as many members on here, at somepoint you have to run across one right?Waved to the guy, got a strange look
you'd think... out of the 10 or so stinger's around here i only ever got one response back to a light flash or thumbs up while driving...It seems to be the norm for me as well. For as many members on here, at somepoint you have to run across one right?
Unless you have a jeep!Years ago when riding bikes it was customary to wave at a passing biker. For the most part it didn't matter what they were riding, even harley's. Eventually I got lazy and only waved when waved to.
This behavior just doesn't seem to exist in the car world at all.
Or a VW Kombie van, even people in caravan's wave to each other. It's a bit disheartening that other Stinger driver's don't acknowledge one of their ownUnless you have a jeep!
Or a Corvette. The Corvette wave has been around a very long time and Corvette drivers will still wave at each other.Unless you have a jeep!
On the White: what's all the black surrounding the brake scoop? Here are six of us at today’s Columbus, Cars, and Coffee. The hive is getting bigger at these events. It was a fun day.
That cat has some gorgeous aesthetics on his car. Had a bunch of body stuff from Khartunerz. Plus the stripe on top (black with pinstripe red on the sides was pretty sweet. Although my camera didn’t pick the the details as well from distance. He runs B.O.S.S. (Buzz Off Stinger Society) Facebook page for Central Ohio. Check it out.On the White: what's all the black surrounding the brake scoop?
Can confirm, had a C5 for 14 years and definitely a lot of waving going on. Waved at a white Stinger on the Dulles toll road westbound today around 3 but I was passing so no idea if he waved back.Or a Corvette. Lol... I always laugh at people who put M badges on a 330i, or similar "up badging" like your charger example. People who know think you are silly (at best) and people who don't know, don't care or understand what a hellcat is.... so the only person you are fooling is... yourself?I parked next to a guy yesterday at the grocery store. He was in a black charger SRT with a hellcat badge on it.
He looked at my car and asked what brand it was, had no clue. I asked him why he put a Hellcat badge on a non hellcat charger. He got offended and walked away.
People that know cars aren't fooled by fake badges. Taking the Kia badges off my car makes the unknowledgeable even more entertaining.
A long time ago when I had a 1998 SVT Mustang Cobra, I once saw a Dodge Caravan with the Cobra snake emblems on it.Lol... I have more respect for people who remove all the badges, no matter what make/model it is. (a few years ago i saw an M3 with zero badges, and didn't sound stock either)
To me, a Hellcat is the replacement carrier fighter in WW2.people who don't know, don't care or understand what a hellcat is....
