Wheel/size/offset and tire/size/profile...can be confusing.

Probable dumb question...can I run 255/25/19 on the STOCK 19" Front Wheels? I assume I'll need spacers, any ideas on how much spacer I'd need?

255/25/19 would be REALLY small compared to the stock tires. Your wheel well will have even more of a 4x4 look although the car will actually be sitting more than an inch lower to the ground.

In other words, 255/25/19 is a horrible idea, even it fits the wheel and car. It will look horrible, ride horrible, put your wheel at risk of easily being damaged, and LOOK HORRIBLE.

Maybe he likes that undersized tired look that our friends south of the border seem fond of: I absolutely fail to comprehend a deliberate choice to put tires for a Pinto on a GTO (for example). And then advertise it by opting for white walls.

You mean "south of the Utah border"? :-) Lots of "smallies" (don't know the correct term) here in CA..

We have plenty of "smallies" here too. And often they come equipped with adjustable suspension too, and roll slowly by going up and down. Silly! And expensive too, I bet. The undersized tires have gotta die in a few thousand miles.

It was a typo...I meant 255/35/19.

So yeah, what do I have to do to get those to fit on stock front wheels? Would I need like a 20mm spacer?

Nothing, put em on.

Has anyone on here gone 1 size wider rubber on the stock 19 inch rims and if so were there any problem s :) ??
This is the same thing I want to do 245 is good on 8" front but keep finding that 265 no good on 8.5". I cant see why it would not work. Let me know not buying tires till Dec.

When my aftermarket rims were being colour corrected I had these on the OE rims as follows with no issues
Front 8” Wheel - Tyre 245/35/19
Rear 8.5” Wheel - Tyre 275/30/19

265 on the rears should be fine, I can't imagine why that would be an issue unless the issue is maintaining circumference with the fronts.

Our 8's in the front really should have been 245s from the factory

Added mine.
19x8.5 +32 // 255/35/19
19x10 +47 // 295/30/19

They are 0.05" apart in circumference

Do you have pic of this setup? This was what I was thinking on my wifes new GT1. Just confirming no rub on these also. I appreciate your input..

I did notice that the stock front tyres do look almost stretched on the stock rims. That may be to ensure that the contact patch is appropriately sized and shaped - wider tyres will have a shorter (front to back) contact patch, which would impact braking.

My 225 Michelins are stretched another half inch more; the front rims are 8.5".

I mean, why even bother with sidewalls, you could just get cruiser rear tires for the front

Helps for when you lean into the corners. Great idea!

Yeah, that's not curb rash on those wheels, bro's been dragging hard parts in that pickup
