Wheel/size/offset and tire/size/profile...can be confusing.

Nothing to see here.

Sure would be nice if there was a way to delete your own post.

This will probably seem like a dumb question but, has anyone tried bolting their rear Wheels (255 x 19") onto the front, will they fit ??

Looking for a cheap easy way of replacing the front 225 x 19"

No it will not work too much offset

Not a dumb question, but it will not work. Using this link Wheel Offset Calculator You can enter tire sizes and offsets to compare how the offset impacts the clearance to the suspension components.

If you put the rear wheels and tires on the front the inside of the rim will be .55" closer to the strut. I confirmed with my rim choice that .35" just barely barely clears but is honestly too close for comfort. (I had to get spacers) I wouldn't go past .15" or .2" closer than factory.

Edit: You could probably do it if you had 3/8" spacers. Not sure how great an idea that is though. I hate that I needed my .2" spacers.

While it is true that the rear wheel and tire won’t fit the front, as is.

If you do want to run the rear wheels up front, you will have to pair them with two 10-12mm spacers up front.

Then you can run 4 19x8.5 255/35/19 Stinger rear wheels at each corner perfectly.
But remember you will have to run those spacers too, otherwise it won’t fit.

Just ordered a set of 19x9.5 Niche Misano M116 +35 wheels in Gunmetal. They will be wrapped in 255/35R19 Firehawk Indy 500s
I'm an AWD GT2 at stock ride height and will be adding F&R Eibach sways and ATQ collars as well.

Should be an entirely different machine

I picked up my rims and tires today. Does not look like the 19x9.5 Niche Misano wheels will work on their own at a +35 offset.
Things spin but I can't get the thickness of cereal box cardboard between the rim and the strut.
Am heading back to the tire shop tomorrow to see what my options are. Likely 5mm spacers on the front. I had originally requested +30 but they didn't come in that offset. Damn...

I finally got my rims and tires yesterday.
I wanted a square setup for my AWD

19x9.5 Niche Misano M116 +35 wheels
255/35R19 Firehawk Indy 500 tires
I used hubcentric rings on the rear - 67.1mm ID to 72.6mm OD
I used 5mm thick hubcentric spacers on the front - 67.1mm ID
The rings would not fit on the front with the spacer in place.

Stock Springs & struts, Eibach F&R sways, ATQ collars

Note: These rims have 2 valve stem holes, one in the front for the tire valve stem and one in the back for TPMS sensors. If you use the back hole for the TPMS it will require the use of a no-show type of sensor that does NOT have a valve stem on it.

Could you provide some closeups? I am not understanding what you described. Never heard of two valve stem holes!?

The valve stem hole on the front is close to the bead and easy access for filling the tire with air. Problem is that when you change the tire and break it down, if there were a TPMS in that location there is a good chance it will get damaged.
The valve stem hole in the back of the rim is further in from the bead so you don't destroy the sensor.

The second hole can be plugged if it is not required. Several wheel manufacturers do this.

That looks really good, nice choices.

I recently purchased some Ark Performance 225S from Nick. He was less expensive than the K8Stinger store. I had Discount Tire (DT) mount them for me.

On my drive home I had vibration I had never experienced before, so a couple days later I had DT check them out. They told me I should get some Hub Centric Rings.

Stupid me. I assumed that because HCR and new lugs were included in the set from K8 that the set through Nick would also. They didn't....

So, I bought some aluminum HCR and some racing lugs, put them on, and all is well.

As an aside, on the cost side, it ended up costing me more in total than if I had ordered from K8.
Any link for lug nuts and HCR.

Anyone got any good suggestions for a thin walled socket for Aftermarket wheels?
A mediocre suggestion...Amazon has a ton, though they're often in sets of three sizes which may or may not be useful.

Hey All, I’m looking for some validation before I purchase.

Noob question first; my wheels/tires are ‘Staggered Stock 19’ because my tires are 225/40ZR19 front and 255/35ZR19 rear (2019 GT RWD) but could someone clarify why when I measure the face of the wheel with a tape measure it’s 20.5” inches? You see I am ignorant and I have always purchased wheels off of craigslist or off an owner of the same vehicle.

Onward...

I did my best using the wheel size calculators and referencing the table (great info awesome work thank you to everyone who’s contributed) but there isn’t a 19x10.5 row or backspacing, unless I missed something. I want to run 19x10.5 on the rear and maintain as close to stock overall diameter. I ended up with 285/35ZR19.

I’ve attached photos from my shopping cart and there’s info below on the combination I’m about to purchase in the next few weeks. This is my first time ordering wheels/tires to a specific size.

I know the offset of these wheels will stick out a little but I’m not a math wizard (about 3/16” of in inch in the front and 5/16” of an inch in the rear). This is somewhat intentional for a more aggressive stance.

So does the following setup match stock diameter/will these fit?

Front: 19x8.5 (+25) - 245/35ZR19
Rear: 19x10.5 (+32) - 285/30ZR19

Backspacing:

Front: 5.73”
Rear: 7.01”

I can’t decide to go with the 285/30 or 285/35 in the rear. The difference is 0.3” inch smaller in diameter or 1” inch larger in diameter. Stock suspension.

You should be ok but I would go with 35 since they are 19. I have 255/35/20 and 285/30/20.
