Wheel/size/offset and tire/size/profile...can be confusing.

20x8.5 +40 asa gt14. 245/35/20 front 255/35/20 rear.
@JR33D
going for this same set up with TSW Sebrings tires are being shipped but after test fit the installer was concerned about strut clearance did you ever have any rubbing at all?

Followup on my wheel decision from earlier:

Need fitment advice. These Apex VS-5RS are by far my favorite wheels for a bunch of reasons: face design, weight, concavity, 1/2 off replacements (because potholes). But the manufacturer is small (also responsive to questions) and produces their 5x114.3 wheels for mustangs and so doesn't know how they fit on this platform. I'm an AWD G70 if that matters.

I'd like to keep 19" if possible but I'd do 20" if it means they'll fit. Here's their production/timing estimates for the various sizes. Would 20x9.5 ET35 fit in front? And 20x11.5" ET52 in back?

Apex did some digging for me and didn't recommend any of these options in the front. They don't have a buyback program if the wheels didn't fit and couldn't guarantee fitment if I didn't drop by their shop in the bay area. I'd seen they offer the EC-7 in 19x9et34, which they did recommend. According to the post I should be fine clearing the struts, as he has 163mm backspacing while the EC-7 should have 161. Next question is whether I go for black or anthracite

First one i have seen with wider tires than myself , have 19x9.5 fronts and 10.5 rears 255/295 tire setup +30 and +45 offsets , front tires clears strut by just barely clearing a credit card between them.

Go with anthracite so you can actually see the wheels.

Definitely an advantage for the antricite. Only concern is they have a slight huge that doesn't match a chrome-on-black G70. The black would match, but yeah they're flat black. Kinda boring

-TSW Sebrings 20x8.5 ET40 on all 4 corners. front 245/35 rear 255/35. No rubbing at all, once I replace tires will prob try to go 255's all the way around so I can rotate.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Finally found some wheels I'm satisfied with after a decent amount of trial and error.

They're 18x8.5 +38 with 245/40R18 squared. My car's lowered on Eibachs. The offset was just slightly too high so I had to grind down the part of the strut... It doesn't sit completely flush so I might throw on some spacers.

I think the highest offset you can run on 8.5s would probably be +35 but I'd say +30 would get you flush. Just too lazy to change out the bolts on the wheel hub and spacers suck anyways.

Yep, no problems at 35 but it's tight and I wouldn't recommend more.

Any info on where you had to grind? Also nice choice on works

I shaved off those two uhhh... shelves (not sure what they're called) down. The bottom was the main area of concern but I did the top one for good measure. Didn't have to take off much at all. Thanks on the compliment! Super excited for them.

edit: typo

Being that he is lowered, it may end up at a different location on the strut compared to if you weren't?

Being lowered won't affect where the body of the front strut is in relation to the wheel/tire, it's fixed to the knuckle.

Anyone know if this would fit or would it poke too much and hit fender? On stock suspension currently.

Hi all.
I am considering the next setup for my 18 gt with stock suspension:
Front: Kansei Tandems 18x9.5 245/40/18
Back: Avid1 AV40 18x10.5 275/35/18

This setup was on z370, but I think it should fit perfect on my stinger?

Do I miss anything? Possible rubbing?

Offset? Why are you mixing wheel brands?

I believe the offset is 22.

This is the set for sale. I’m still considering it.
Fronts will be okay but poke out a bit (1/2”ish), might rub over big dips at highway speeds. Rears will poke like crazy and definitely rub. This picture is 9.5” +25 and pokes out this much.
