What did you pay for your Kia Stinger?

This particular Dealer had a $2500 ADM but this is what I paid for my 22 GT1 AWD.

$895 for gap protection, yikes. Another reason to go through a credit union for financing, gap is usually much cheaper (mine was about half, but have seen gap as low as $150).

On 19 Nov 19 GT2 white. $40k + tax, brand new. A really great deal.

In Orlando. 2022 Stinger GT Line RWD ceramic grey with red interior and sun/sound package. Price when built on the website was $40,455. Dealer was asking an insane $52,600 plus taxes and fees (another 4k). I thought they were giving me prices on a gt1 or gt2, but they were asking another 10k for those. After extensive negotiation and trading in my 05 Silverado LS with 180k miles on it, I was out the door for $45,700. There was only one on the lot to test drive and every other stinger was being bought before it reached the lot, so they said. Given the current buying atmosphere, I don’t believe I was totally ripped off (please tell me I wasn’t lol) however it certainly wasn’t an amazing deal by any means. The inventory in my area for any vehicle is abysmal at the moment, but the car I bought was only 2 weeks away from delivery so I pulled the trigger. Also I’m new to the forum and this is my first post, so hello to everyone!

I feel for my US brothers. Bought my new 2020 Aurora Black GT Ltd Aug 2020 for just under $41k US all in with 8yr/200k 5 Star extended warranty. Today's prices are just crazy stupid.

45 grand.......for the 4 cylinder??? And that's with a trade??? Damn, I couldn't do it. When I was looking at at gt1 brand new I didn't wanna spend 40k, which is why I went with the base awd gt. 36k otd brand new. Didn't get the exact model I wanted but I got the awd and the 3.3. Obviously that was before the market went crazy.

We really shouldn't be comparing otd pricing as there's too much variance in taxes between states to make the comparisons meaningful.

My awd gtline (no sunroof/stereo) was $37,5 + TTL back in 08/2021. MSRP was 40,335. ~7% below msrp. Got $17,7 for trade in @ carmax after considering the tax credit loss. Pretty good deal for a 6 yr old car with 27K on it ('15 accord exl). If it wasn't for the high trade in, the deal wouldn't be worth while.

If I could have gotten a gt1 at the same price, it'd be a no brainer.

Now is definitely NOT the time to buy.

I tell this to everyone about real estate: If you sell high, you're going to buy high, so the market doesn't matter if you go from one to the other. I bought mine, as mentioned above, at a little below MSRP (after rebates) but also made an actual profit of $12k on my Mach-E I sold, so I didn't mind paying some markup but then receiving a rebate to bring it below MSRP. At the same time, if you want something and have the means to buy it, just go for it and don't worry about the market conditions because you can't really predict them. My GT1 was actually on the lot for over 100 days, which I used in my negotiation to get rid of 90% of their $5k markup.

No regrets once you buy because you never know what would have happened if you didn't!

Yep. We wanted it so we got it. No regrets. We certainly have the means and I didn’t feel like waiting around for a market correction. Sucks it’s literally the worst time in history, but I needed a new car before my truck kicked the bucket. Sounds like you got a good deal so congrats to you! I’m really excited to take delivery. It’s going to be nice not getting 16 mpg anymore :)

I got my GT for $33,000 with 3,000 miles on it first owner got deployed not to long after getting it. All I can say is if you live in Northern California do not by at Roseville Kia they tried a few times during the sale trying to have me pay for something the first owner payed for already not a stretch they would try other tactics to over charge a customer.

Thats just how the market is if you don't want to wait to take delivery. Mine should be arriving in a month (after waiting 3 months) but by waiting I was able to get it for 1k below MSRP (using the dealer rebate so basically MSRP). That was without a trade in.

$40k GT2 brand new
This year or a few years ago? Cuz I couldn't sniff a GT1 for 40k, let alone a GT2 for that price and that was summer 2020.

2020 Indigo Blue Special Edition, considered GT, but includes the rare Chroma Blue (for Americans) and beautiful dark brown interior, sunroof, Harman Kardon 720-watt 15 speaker sound system, heated steering wheel, Korean "E" logos on all wheels and on hood, with the unique rims specific to the indigo edition, AWD+drift mode and larger touch screen with built in navigation. Purchased at 7,500 miles in sept. 2021 during the middle of all this ridiculous covid pricing. I was pleased at $37,000 USD. Got 11,700 for my base model v6 Mustang, that I purchased new (at $19,500) in 2014 with 86,500 miles on it.

Ahhhhh, the Indigo special edition! Before I bought my gt, I drove an hour away to look at at that model. Was surprised as to how good the mocha interior was in person. Looked more peanut butter online, which I didn't want. Car was brand new but somebody in their department thought it was a good idea to add a pinstripe on both sides like it was 1985 or something. I was so pissed. That stupid stripe didn't show online for some reason. Had I saw that, I wouldn't have wasted the time and gas money going up there. I liked the car Alot but that damn pinstripe, nope, I just couldn't do it.

Although it was a nice drive and it's still the longest I've driven the Lightning for. It was pulled DD duty since I had crashed my main car.
