Still smarting at what i payed. Got duped was told $65k was an early bird introductory price for pre-July 17. This was before the kia website had there "Build a car" platform. So believed the dealers lie. = $3k more than James paid. Boy has that dealer copped an earful. Won't pick the phone up anymore. When i get the car ill shame the dealer here.

You may want to explain, that European pricing always includes VAT (or equivalent) and any other applicable charges, fees etc. European pricing is therefore OTD (out the door). VAT is something like 19%. Austrian pricing which includes emission taxes, will curl your toes. .
Of course, I may be totally wrong and stand to be corrected....

I almost forgot: Congratulations to you new car. Nice color combination!

Absolutely right. Price includes 19% VAT (Germany). Just for comparison: price without VAT is 43,300 EUR (51,300 USD). I could do without VAT. But then I remember that my Austrian friends have to live with 20% VAT plus 31% emission tax for the GT - horrendous

Not true because it depends on trade in etc so outdoor price is $51000 plus relavent taxes

Hi Richard, the $64500 you paid for your Stinger, i assume is without the extra cost of the metallic Deep Chroma Blue paintwork ?

I haven't paid yet but yesterday here in the US the Build your own option is live. GT2 with AWD and most of the options came to roughly $53k Silky Silver with red nappa is my first choice and the deep chroma blue is my second choice. Going to the dealer today to do the paperwork for the build.
