What did you pay for your Kia Stinger?

Well. Don't think I like the V6 GT2. The 2022 GT line was so much quieter and smoother and more comfortable. I would hit 95 and not even feel it...it was smooth and just relaxing and my wife totally agrees. The GT2 is louder and rougher, not as smooth, RWD is annoying being used to AWD. She loved the GT Line and does not like the GT2 at all. I kind of agree. Maybe I just have to get used to the RWD and the more sporty feel of it and I got it for the 0-60 over the slow GT Line...but the GT Line was nice from 20-60 and the acceleration was so smooth and quiet. I think that car is great deal and one a lot of people would love. The GT2, uh, not my cup of tea so far but I will try it for more. than 24 hours and see how I feel about it.

I don't feel the 2022 GT-Line with the 2.5T is slow, it's not the monster 3.3TT, but it's also much better than the 2.0T (reviews) from the base models previous to the 2022. 300hp, 311ft.lbs of torque isn't slow, even for a car weighing 3700lbs with a 0-60 in under 6.0 seconds. I've never driven the 2.0T, so can't really comment on it from experience.

Oh no, it's not slow...it feels pretty quick actually. I just could never get under a 5.8 0-60 and I've had faster cars and wanted a faster car so compared to the V6 in 0-60 its slow. But overall, most normal people would find it fast enough.

Did you not drive it before you bought it? They’re completely different engines. I’ve driven that engine in my girlfriend’s Sorento AMDa GV70 and it’s peppy but the turbo wine is super loud. I hate the turbo lag though 90% of people would be fine with it.

The V6 has as much power as a 2006 Corvette. It’s definitely more if a sports car experience so it all depends on what you want. RWD is super fun (tail outs are so fun) but I got AWD for better security in carrots driving conditions. Again, all depends on what you’re looking for.

Like you said, you only live once. If you were happier with the 4 cylinder then go get it. For me it never was a debate but I love power and driving hard.

The 3.3 is really quiet, too quiet in fact, that's why I had to put in dual intakes, so you can actually hear the turbos and blow off valve. I can't see any possible scenario that I'd like the 4 cylinder better after driving the 3.3 but that's me. If you like the 4 cylinder then just go with that.

The guy before me had enhanced engine sound on. So I turned that off, now it's a lot quiter, thank gawd. But still fast! I hate noise.

That enhanced engine sound is nothing. Barely even loud.

Got a '22 GT1 in AWD over the weekend for $800ish over MSRP. 48,500 (Comparable MSRP 47,710).

Like the other posters, about the best deal I could find with the way cars are now.

What kind of back-assward world do we live in where MSRP is actually a "Great Deal" on a new car? Lol.

Agreed, it wasnt so long ago that people were getting these Stingers for $5-10k UNDER MSRP, crazy times for the foreseeable future.. I bought a bunch of Ford stock, between the Maverick, Broncos, Mustang Mach-E and the Lightening, Ford has a waiting line many months long and it simply can't make then fast enough- supply shortages not withstanding.

I would be fine with spending a touch more on the car if I didn't have to go through a dealership/the process. But like you, I'm weary all this chaos is going to result in anything but win for the car makers.

Got my 2022 GT-Line for $1100 under MSRP (no add-ons) using a TrueCar quote through Progressive's car shopping service. The $1100 is the $1000 incentive plus an extra $100. I went to the same dealer the week before (with no deal in hand) and they wouldn't go anywhere near MSRP.
