Yup that looks good and shiny. Nice job!
I just use Mother's VLR. Mine are pretty clean so I'm hoping that just protects them I guess. What is your process?Cleaned and conditioned my seats/all leather. Gets me every time how good looking the red leather is after a good conditioning.
I've heard great things about Mother's! I personally roll with Chemical Guys cleaner and conditioner and am very happy with the results. The light smell of the conditioner is nice, only lasts a few days, and seems to bring the original smell of the leather out.I just use Mother's VLR. Thanks. I believe I break it down in my post on the previous page, but we ended up with the pipe's overall length close to 36 inches. My drone was worse when the exhaust gases were warmer/hot so I did the calculation around 350F — 1395 ft/s for speed of sound. If the drone is around 120Hz, I think a 32" – 36" pipe would work overall, but depends on the temp of when the drone is the worst. Best to calculate it though for a more precise measurement.Nice job on the 1/4 wave resonators. What length did you end up using? I calculated about 34" a while back but wasn't sure what speed of sound to use.
I really like that cover, is that made by element 6? Is it real or fake carbon? Looks real in the photos.... then I can home to find this waiting for me on the porch.
She’s starting to come together.

Yeah, it’s a real molded piece and it’s not a carbon skinned plastic cover. The underside appears to be fiberglass. I think it’s made by Boostec. ImportShark gets them in from time to time. I waited a while until I saw they had one in stock.I really like that cover, is that made by element 6? Is it real or fake carbon? Looks real in the photos.
Installed an Injen intake this morning.
Not sure what happened but if the car was damaged might be worth it to sic the insurance company on their asses.Valet parking company denied the claim…last time I will let valet move anywhere other than leave it up front…
Killer! I have been looking at the corner covers for a bit too. They a good fit?Yeah, it’s a real molded piece and it’s not a carbon skinned plastic cover. The underside appears to be fiberglass. The two covers in the far corners of the bay are Boostec as well. Picked them up off EBay.View attachment 60982

(edit: It’s really satisfying getting a package that’s not crushed and maimed these days)

What did you use to cover all that up? I backed up into a sidewalk and scraped the housing good... From the looks of it I damaged my pride more than the housing itself. I just spray painted the scraped parts to prevent rust but I wouldn't mind a more permanent solution.
