Luminary, correct me if I'm wrong here but I think I recall reading in one of these threads a loooong time ago that you weren't much of a modder and planned on keeping the Stinger stock lol. I could be wrong but either way...that is one SICK Stinger!!

lol I have said many things like that, and then it starts with one "I am just going to do this" and leads to the next, that leads to the next and before you know it...
Thanks, that does mean a lot!! <3

Just got back from a couple days at the Spa - got full front PPF and 35% ceramic tint all around.

Had my Compustar/Drone installed today at Best Buy. Asked about the aux button tie in. At first the guy wasn’t very eager to do the work, said he had to check the schematics, etc. I asked to have the aux 1 tied to the heated front seats and steering wheel and aux 2 to the vented front seats. He said he may only be able to tie in the driver side. Turns out he was able to tie all in after contacting tech support. He did charge $100 for the aux buttons but I will fight Best Buy since I verified with customer service before hand. They appeared to do a nice job. Picked up at night so I will review tomorrow. Not crazy about the antenna sitting in the upper left corner of the windshield but I’m sure I will forget about it with time. For just over ($300) not including the $100 I think it’s a better value than the oem. I will be signing up for the web based phone control as well, (free for 30 days.) (1 year for $60)

Update: Best Buy is refunding me the $100 to tie in the auxiliary buttons!!! Played with system today and it’s great, responds quickly from phone, haven’t seen any install issues other than a tiny mark right where the antenna comes through the roof/pillar. Only I would ever notice it. Couldn’t be happier, was a bit worried about using Best Buy but their tech did well and did the proper research. Install was done in East Brunswick, NJ for any other Jersey stingers contemplating the system.
Some system features: (displayed via app)
Doors locked/unlocked
Trunk open/closed
Hood open/closed
Battery level
Interior temperature
Doors open/closed
Engine off/on

The Drone system is a very good one and really like mine too. However, I am jealous as I forgot to ask about the auxiliary buttons when I had mine installed...D'OH!!!

Try and negotiate with Best Buy. I did it through their chat. I told them I paid for the higher end product and the aux features are part of the base product it should be included in the install. If you look at the instructions i don’t believe aux is listed as an “advanced feature” like turbo cool down, etc.
just have your order number when you contact. You have nothing to loose. Worst case it’s $100.

Yeah I need too. I went back to speak with the installer who did the work about it and he wasn't around. The other techs there told me to send him an email to discuss; needless to say, never heard from him. I'll get it done sooner or later...

Longer you wait the less likely they will do it. Installers are swamped during the winter months and don’t usually slow until spring. Tell them you are willing to do it at their convenience.

Just got back from Kia dealership for 1st oil change. This was my TGIF gift for waiting 21/2 hours . Needless to say, I went straight to the manager and he took pics and said he’ll get his “guy” right on it. Ummm, yeah I would hope so geez...

Jeez, making me rethink taking my car in this Monday for the recall. I bought my car from the Kia dealer and never brought it back. I just do my own maintenance on it.

I'll answer for him, yes it's loud in cabin with low RPM drone IMO. I added aftermarket tips and it's totally fine now!
