Hey Bam and the rest of the forum. This is my first post and I just purchased a GT2 and and was thinking about getting it tinted and have been doing a bit of research.

I'm trying to decide if ceramic tint is the way to go to try to protect the leather from the dreaded UV rays here in Florida and avoid introducing any RF interference. Did you put ceramic tint on your Stinger? Did you tint the rear window? ( I hear that ceramic tint is better because there is an antenna built into the rear window). Did your Stinger have factory tinting in the windows, if so how did you compensate for that to get to the legal 35%?

Where in Fl? And i think legal is 20% here. Im rolling darker but never really had any issues. Even with my past cars at 5% too. Not using ceramic and have no problems

Just got done installing the remote start system. Damn was that a pain. I think the hardest part was figuring out how to get the new "Interface Module" up high enough while still being able to route the wires from the "top" of the new "Interface Module" down so they could plug into the existing "IBU Module" while still also being able to have enough room / give to get the kick panel back in.

At least now the Trunk Release button on my remote has a use.

The full front PPF is normally $1,800 and the tint is normally $400. I'm getting both for $2,000.
