What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

Took me for a hike with the girlfriend, whose CX-5 tagged along.

Did my first ever launch control start (any car, ever) because deserted desert road and, well... it's quick to 60.

Got the following installed:

R1 Rotors and Brake Pads
HKS PLugs
Lap3 Uncle Chip

Now I have some more "go" to got with my "show".

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
What R1's did you get? And technically you got some stop and go

eLine Drilled and Slotted for the front and rear with their pads. I got them sometime after Christmas when they were doing a 30% off sale. And yes, I did get some stop and go. Figured I would need some additional stop with the Lap3. ;)

Did you get the black or silver coloured ones? I almost pulled the trigger on them today (30% sale) but the free shipping came to $80?

I got the silver; and the $80 for shipping is odd. I don't recall paying for shipping when I ordered mine back in December.

What pushed you to the lap3 instead of the usuall jb4?

The Lap3 just felt simpler to me...plug it in and go. While the JB4 does seem to have the ability to unlock more of the engine, I have some concerns long term on the impacts to the engine and drivetrain. I also don't see myself taking my Stinger to the drag strip or looking for any vehicles to confront on the roads. I just wanted a few extra ponies under my right foot to have fun with entering and exiting the ramps from the highway and in case of evasive maneuvering is needed. With many of these drivers today looking at their phones and not the road, I've been darn near side swiped more times that I like to recall...and I only have 1400 miles on the car after 9 months of ownership.

I hear ya on the drivers. I drive 50 miles a day round trip for work. It steadily gets worse as the snowbirds show up here in Fl. 9 months and 1400 miles only... im jealous. Thanks for the review on the lap3. I was looking at that and unfortunately all i ever seem to see on hear is gotta have a jb4 and a 3.3. I super happy with my lil 2.0 but it never hurts to have a little more go. But like i said it tough in my area to open up anything you drive for more than a few seconds. And i agree 100% on longevity, i know i cant buy a new car every 2 to 3 years.

Got my Indy 500 tires put on today. Also got the bad news that my Eibach springs got delayed again. It's been a month since I have ordered. I hope to have them on before spring haha.

They look nice and the few miles I drove they seemed nice. I'll have to put some miles on it when things start to heat up to see if the $100 per tire reduction in cost is a good decision.
