Never had a car that turned so many heads.

3.5 months and just over 1000 mi local drives and I haven't turned a single head...and I've been watching!!! Musta shoulda got the red one...pffff, good; I was going for unique anonymity anyways...I don't feel bad...I don't feel bad at all... ...:rolleyes::poop:
People are probably " covertly " admiring your Stinger, taking a sly peak in the side mirrors when you are pulled up next to them, I get that a lot . Some people don't want to be " too out there ", although I have had one bloke advise me he was " drooling " when he saw my Micro Blue. ;)

The last two weekends I have went on extended drives because the weather has been great. I have literally had about 10 people over the past 2 weekends comment on the car. Either while I'm at a gas station or stopped at a stop light. Even cruising 70mph on the thruway haha. This car is such an experience. My favorite experience so far was I was in line at a Sheetz and I looked out at my car and there were 2 guys looking at the car. They saw the front and I have the 'E' badge on the front. They moved around to the back where I still have the KIA badge and I could tell they were surprised from their body language. Love this car.

Thanks, everyone. I guess I'll keep the car and give these upstate vehicular ignoramuses a few more chances!

A guy in a BMW M8 tried to race me down the highway saturday night. I was far too tired, and far too smart to take on 600 horsepower. Our cars are quick for sure, but I couldn't compete with that! Also not the safest highway to do that on (79 near Pittsburgh). I take it as a compliment that a guy in a $140k+ 600hp car acknowledges the stinger and wants to see what it can do.

UPDATE: Success!! I drove the car to pick up an ice cream cake for my SIL's B'day and one of the workers was sitting outside as I pulled in. Big smile and thumbs up and asked if it was a 2020 and praised the color choice. Then when leaving with the killer cake and a couple craft brews (Cooper's Cave in Glens Falls, NY), a youth on a bicycle says "Whooaaaa!! nice car!" He was smiling so I could see that he had a missing front tooth. And on my way back home I caught sight of a local black Stinger that was alleged to be around. It had a nice European dimensioned white on black front tag stating "STINGER" and as he waved going in the other direction, emanated a very non-stock exhaust note. Also, this was really the cars 1st highway trip since being (maybe) broken in (~1200 mi) it was a delight to stretch its legs. Like Flameangel implied, I'm pretty sure those couple of launches from 65+ mph got some attention. I feel more a part of the club now. Thanks for your support and patience ;) !

Woohoo! and a hat trick too!

After i debadged my car totally, more heads seems to turn, than the original kia badge or the "K" layover ever did.

Sometimes you turn the wrong heads, don't know why many teens and twenty something kids like to harass you and race you on their shitty Mustangs.

Today walking out of the grocery store a couple were walking passed my car and they are clearly checking it out... I couldn't hear the conversation, but as we got closer to merging I heard him say "I think it's his" and he flashes a smile, I smiled back and as we passed... as I reached for the the door handle he turned back and said "sweet ride"

Y’all was right. Attention activity increasing. Had a 30 something landscape dude here for an estimate, complaining about his GMC truck. Sees the car in the garage (rear end) and says “what the hell is that.” I show him inside and under the hood, “who the f*ck makes it dude?!” Kia, I whisper. “No f*cking way! I need one...”. Then a stop at the local burger Joint, Juicy Burgers...no kidding. A middle aged couple with decidedly southern accents, the wife says “How you liken’ that Stanger?” She’s an Optima owner. Good conversation. Picked up the less than warm bacon double cheese burger and gave them a pssshhht farewell...also, my Hot Wheels Stingers arrived from eBay. Might give out Stingers for holiday gifts this year.

The day after I got my car I stopped at a light. Looked in rear mirror and the guy behind takes out his cell phone and shoots a picture of the back of my car. As I went to make a left he passed me on the right and gave me a thumbs up out the window. I can also tell people looking at the car on the highway cause they are going to pass me on the left then always slow to ride next to me. I usually ask my wife....”are they checking out the Stinger”.... she always replies...”Yup”
Loving this car.

Yep, I too notice lots of people coming up for a quick pass, then hanging out on my tail for a while admiring that sexy rear 3/4 view.
Occasionally get the thumbs-up, but from their car's "body language" it's pretty evident they're checking it out (I do it too when I come up on cool cars).

Going from a White 2015 Mustang to a Blue Stinger GT I wasn't sure how it would compare. Everyone loves a bright white mustang, It turned heads right to trade in day!
I've had the Stinger for about 2 weeks and I don't notice the rubber necks as much while driving but I'm been stop on 3 occasions in Parking lots. All the neighbors have wanted a closer look and almost every lady loves the Atomic Blue .... including my wife .... and daughter :p

Caught another person checking out the Stinger via my front and rear dash cams, after going to the front (have the k badge ) they inevitably go to the back to see what brand of car it is :)

I was washing my car yesterday and some guy in a Honda Civic pulled up in to the stall next to me looking at me and the car as I was getting ready to start washing it. A few seconds later he came over and we started talking about the car and how he was looking at possibly getting one. We chatted for about 5 minutes and I started it up for him and gave him a few revs. I have the Borla exhaust and intakes so it sound much more different than stock. I mentioned to him how he should not test drive this car unless he really wants it. The Test drive I took is what 100% made me make the purchase.

I had a fun experience this past Monday. Pulled in to the grocery store. They have it set up so one side is the entrance and the other side is the exit. I decide to park on the exit side and walk in so I don't have to shake up the groceries in the parking lot. I did not notice anything unusual at first, but all of a sudden I had a gentleman come up and tell me he saw me pull in to the parking lot and ask if that was the new Stinger I was driving and if I was enjoying the car. Why yes...yes it is and hell yes I was!

Of course he then proceeded to tell me about his 600hp BMW and how he has always wanted to go up against a tuned Stinger. I had to let the guy down and let him know I was still stock. lol

I found it both weird and awesome at the same time that this guy tracked me all the way from the parking lot just to comment on the Stinger! This car is so awesome to own . I cannot wait until I make it a bit more aggressive and see how the heads turn then.

I was coming out of Walmart today and I noticed that an enormous 6 wheeled pickup had parked next to me. I saw 3 guys standing around my car. One of them had his phone out and took at least 3 pictures. By the time I got to my car, they had gotten back into their truck and were leaving.

My eleven year old son came down with what I definitely think is a " cold " anyway now the primary school he attends has gone back to remote learning. Kids can attend if parents are working, there is paperwork ( you have to apply to have them there  ) anyway the Doctor advised I take him down the road today to get the Covid test done, anyone with any respiratory ailments is being advised to get tested.
I was a little anxious how it would go as my son has ASD and ADHD and was getting more nervous the closer we got. When we at the front of the line, I parked the car, a Nurse came and took our particulars and the referral. Then a lovely older Nurse appeared at my son's window, she chatted to my son to make sure he was ok and was so gentle when doing the test that he didn't mind and in fact stated " that wasn't that bad ".
When she came up to the car, she stated enthusiastically " I like your car, I like your plates too " " It's so much fun " I replied and she said " You enjoy it ", on the way home my son stated " she was nice and she liked your car "...........yes, she was nice :)
