Good idea. Just found a carsguide owners review on the stinger got a 8.4/10. Been old i tried to attach here but lost the link...maybe somone else can ....please
Welcome aboard great find, no waiting for you! Some of us are doing more time. With good behaviour i might get mine after xmas. We expect details and a lot of gushing.Great to see that there is this Stinger Forum. I had been waiting for this car to come out for a while now, and had test driving the Golf R as a backup. Got to test drive the GT last weekend and was super impressed. Unfortunately the dealer could only offer me a demo model to buy with the next one (white coming late December) or putting in an order and waiting 4 months!
Rang around and found another dealer an hour away who had a red one that I was after for sale as it was a pre-order that someone had pulled out on for one reason or another!
Leasing through work so that is being finalised and hope to have it next week!
So impressed not only with the ride and power but with the interior cabin
example I buy my boat fuel filters for 6.50 each in the US, 28.35 each in Australia which saves more that 200%
Ah the plot thickens, mads an accountant and now he's turned into a yank?? Please explain. LolAh, not wanting to be pedantic but..... $6.50 is about 25% of $28.00 so you save about 75%.....still great but not 200%.

Hi Richard,Sorry Tazza forgot to say running in Guide states don’t rev over 3500 for first 2000 km so I guess should be fine after that. I was planning on waiting until after first service which is at 3000 km. I have only done just under 400 km so far but have gone well over 3500 revs.
Kia Stinger Break-In Process
No special break-in period is needed. By following a few simple precautions for the first 600 miles (1,000km) you may add to the performance, economy and life of your vehicle.
Do not race the engine.
- While driving, keep your engine speed (rpm, or revolutions per minute) between 2,000 rpm and 4,000 rpm.
- Do not maintain a single speed for long periods of time, either fast or slow. Varying engine speed is needed to properly break-in the engine.
- Avoid hard stops, except in emergencies, to allow the brakes to seat properly
The ventilated seats might help with that.Hi Tazztattoo. Yep read all that stuff before I got the car the dealer gave me all the books to read while the car was getting stuff done to it. It’s the same wording but just different numbers. As stated ours is don’t rev over 3500 rpm for first 2000 km. All the rest is the same. Yes was still smiling until I got gastro this morning, not going near my car when craping like water as I don’t think that’s covered in the leather care warranty.
I got my stinger today.... Well.... Probably won't have my licence for long that's for sure. I re badged the stinger all good except for the front badge needs one of the pins removed to fit.
Did you have to grind the third pin off? Or is there another method. Looks like something a lot of us will be doing. The bottom hole is actually on the wrong side
I just cut it with side cutters and melted the rest down with a soldering iron.Did you have to grind the third pin off? Or is there another method. Looks like something a lot of us will be doing.
