FYI - I spoke with Lozic on this and as with you, he had to figure out the ECU on his own. He received no help from Hyundai and in fact he said Hyundai doesn't like "us" - as in tuners.

I think it's only right that Tork gets to lie, I mean gets to "defend" himself (or at least show us his best impersonation of a defense)...
It just so happens that Lozic is too mature and too busy tuning cars to go back and forth with little John--self-proclaimed expert in tuning Fiats--about how he was right to attempt to blackmail a tuner because in his world Korean tuners should be going out of their way to help him make money.

I sell SaaS software for a living. Let me make it simple, his ask is like asking for source code of an application (think Microsoft OS).At the same time wanting access to documentation on how to use the application.Lol proprietary information which is Kia and Hyundai's and clear as day not public info, or should I say open source.
The funny part is the ask for proprietary information. Umm that is illegal without consent from Kia/Hyundai and could lead to cease and desist order if ever obtained and utilized.

Same thing I said when I first read his "defense."
Quite strange to have a business owner publicly affirm that he led his company down a path to attempt to blackmail a foreign small business into selling him what he believes to be information that was stolen from a multi-billion dollar foreign corporation.

Yep, the flip side is Kia/Hyundai wouldn't provide the information unless under express agreement/contract with a company. Even if they did it would be under an NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement). Standard practice as it relates to sensitive company information.
Lozic comment they don't like tuners says it all. It is simple Kia/Hyundai doesn't want liability or people messing with mapping. Way too much can go wrong, not too mention maps/tunes that don't meet standard regulations of mass production vehicles.
All any of this means to me is that Lap 3 and Lozic know what they are doing and you are experimenting... They don't need shop cars because they take far less time to figure it out based on their knowledge and experience. Sorry but it's hard to feel any sympathy for you as the underdog because the way you treat people.
My 0-60 time is not what you should be comparing to as my tune is very mild and I have zero mods. How does your 0-60 time compare to Joel Williams with Lozic @2.89s? It doesn't.

Just another data point for the discussion. I took the plunge and installed a Lozic ECU & TCU yesterday. Otherwise factory stock 2022 Genesis G70 AWD 3.3T. Very impressed with the drivability and performance gains.

But my clients always lend me a Stinger.
I test and make various functions with the borrowed Stinger, then provide it back to customers and improve the quality of the data sent to the United States.

I've been setting up and testing the Stinger since 2018.
The test we are doing now is making something newer.
It's not because of the power.
You're right. Always need a test.
But I don't have to do the same tests.
A new test is scheduled for this week as well. I'll post when it's finished.
