I'm the president of Lozic in Korea.

I've been reading this great book lately called The Culture Map by Erin Meyer. Highly recommended

Welcome to the Stinger Forum!

I have heard so much about you over the years and it is great to be able to put a face with the Lozic name.

Thank you for sharing your long history and dedication to the KDM racing market and aftermarket community.

Wishing you and your team lots of success!

And... let's be honest here, this market needed a price adjustment to its TCU tunes. $1000 - $1500 for a TCU tune is insulting to this community. I could have easily of sold this tune for $495 and offered a tuning option for end-user tuning at $895 (at home flashing and tuning service so the tuner can dual in the perfect LC and shift RPM/harshness) and still made $500 per tune. As of today, I have 39 sold TCU tunes, at the loss of $20,000 to me.

Insulting to the community....really... If your doing such a big favor to the community, why is your ECU tune so expensive? Clearly it needs a "market adjustment".

Tork ECU stage 2 with express shipping and spare ECU = $3077 (Custom tuning $4572)
Tork TCU (stage 1 only) = $99 + Spare TCU ($500?)

Tork Total $3700 - $4500

Lozic ECU - Any settings you want (includes Spare ECU and express shipping) = $1450
Lozic ECU - Any settings you want (includes Spare TCU and express shipping)= $850

Lozic Total = $2300

Dumb question but can lozic ecu or tcu tune be paired with jb4?

Tork is looking at that screenshot of the email he denied writing wondering what alien screenshot technology they have in Korea.

He's posted much worse stuff (IMHO) semi-publicly in an Fbook group.

When John shoots himself in the foot he breaksout the double barrel shot gun. Slow learner for sure.

He's posted much worse stuff HERE!

I'm pretty sure the reason he stopped posting here a couple years ago is because he just couldn't stop creating controversy for his little operation.

YES YOU CAN
Careful... you can pair a JB4 with the Lozic ECU, but don't set the JB4 to map2 with the 1.5 bar ECU tune. You're not going to get the Lozic ECU gains + JB4 gains, you'll get a blown motor (or, hopefully, the ECU will quickly see something is up and default to limp mode before blindly trusting the JB4's modified sensor data and doing damage).

Use the JB4 in either map0 for logging or map6 to make fine-tuned adjustments to the Lozic off-the-shelf tune. Or, most commonly, use the JB4 to control CPI or meth leaving the Lozic ECU to do all the engine control.

Having said all that, the JB4 and Lozic TCU seem to work together great.

Wow really appreciated this. Thank you big time!

playing devil's advocate a screenshot can be faked

side note: why are other people bouncing into this thread including myself? seems like these two need to figure it out in their own ways...

Been following the 80+ page Lozic ECU/TCU/AWD thread since the beginning. I'm just paraphrasing

Yes the JB4 is compatible with any ECU flash map you want to run, but you need to start on map0 with the JB4 in pass through so we can evaluate how to best tune it. Normally we end up doing a map6 to dial in boost and some duty bias changes (with JB4 EWG connectors) to correct boost creep and other issues we often see with flash maps.

On the JB4 end for TCU maps no special changes are needed.

Thank you! And for your great product. Ill probably go for the tcu route for now since im new to this. Ecu seems abit more complex for now.

It was a joke and I realize a screenshot can be faked, however what motive would it have served in this situation?
