I'm the president of Lozic in Korea.

I've been setting up and testing the Stinger since 2018.
The test we are doing now is making something newer.
It's not because of the power.
You're right. Always need a test.
But I don't have to do the same tests.

A new test is scheduled for this week as well. I'll post when it's finished.
I see now. Thanks for your work for improve KDM car.
Very intereting in TCU tune, will it work well with JB4 and WMI? I want to get better 0-60. But wonder know
Any safety to make sure trans wont be mess up?The LC just work as well as stock but with higher RPM and wont cut the power at first, right?

Any plans to introduce a bolt-on turbo upgrade and tune etc. The Stinger/G70 is in need of a 550-600whp bolt-on solution at the moment. The stock turbo's are becoming boring :)

The "modern" head/exhaust manifold on cars nowadays could make turbo swaps easier if not for the long time style of current turbo setups. We need specialized compressor housings to swap turbos. So. Very expensive now. Maybe cheaper if demand increases.

Or just a double flanged pipe from head to wherever you mount the new turbo would do the trick. Just needs to be strong enough to handle the extra weight and such.

Pureturbos has already made bolt-on replacement turbos that flow roughly 50cfm more, +/-50whp and have indicated that they can produce bolt-ons but with bigger compressor/turbines wheels if required its just that nobody has brought all the pieces together yet. Fuel solution is available (HPFP & LPFP & CPI) and tunes are availabe. Somebody just needs to bring all this together and trail and error this until it works.

Safety is just a limit. It can be said that I have removed all limits. Durability is proven by the time I have tested.
All wheels also slip during launch. There is no power cut.

A little tidbit of information I learned through @sweetboyed -- Your tune can pickup more power if you user a higher octane fuel (or other fuels) over what you selected. The Lozic ECU will automatically adjust to the new fuel. So for example, I have a 91 octane 1.3BAR tune and if I put in higher octane fuel, the tune will auto adjust and create additional power.

Maybe @sweetboyed can comment how that works.

Interesting...
I asked him about mixing in some E85, as it's available everywhere around me, and he specifically said no, it would have to be re-tuned for it.

E85 is nice and all but I'm anti ethonal fuel and my stinger is happy like that

It will give you the best power with the settings tuned to the E85.
I was talking about the increase in power when E85 is put in while using Lozic ECU 93 octane setting.
Even if you put E85 in 93 octane, the power will increase.
Setting it to E85 will result in higher power.
If you are currently using more than 97 octane.
There is also a setting of 1.8 bar peak, 1.55 bar at 6000 rpm.

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong. But is ethonal used to increase compression

I mean I could see how someone would make that link. Ethanol is an ignition inhibitor like octane. Just watered down (no pun intended). So if you add ethanol, you can use other mechanisms to increase boost if you otherwise didn't have the ignition inhibitor. Ethanol also slows the flame front, which is particularly useful for high boost levels at lower rpms. But ethanol doesn't directly increase boost.

This is fascinating! Yes the email was written in bad taste; I do see the objective goal from Tork, however, and while the underlying goal seems arguably OK (ie the plea for a better price for competitive industry secrets), the means for Tork to get there doesn’t seem to justify the ends (as most seem to agree). And the legality of the release of these KIA trade secrets in general is something I won’t touch with a ten foot pole bc I think there is too little data on this (at least to me).

An example of actual blackmail is threatening to release a sex tape of someone if they don’t sleep with you (random salacious example, I know, but I did a lot of research on this topic for a documentary — long story!). Tork technically can do whatever he wants with his product and its pricing and is just spinning that fact in attempts to find leverage in, yes, a threatening tone that majority of us clearly don’t condone. Just remember that businesses play dirty and threaten each other in various ways all the time. We just don’t always hear about it nor see it so plainly. I’m sure some of your favorite brands definitely have and/or still do this to varying degrees. Connections rule the world and you better believe that many businesses use them to get away with a lot worse.

Some vanilla public examples are Amazon copying designs of plenty of start-up and established brands and being able to get away with it (google Peak Design & Amazon). Samsung lost against Apple for patent infringement. Our favorite social media platforms sell our data and more. And still I’ve yet to see Zuckerberg’s texts and emails being released (or did I miss that? lol). Just food for thought bc I see what looks like group think to me. It’s just a dog eat dog world.

Just my perspective/opinion. Not trying to be right; just vomiting what’s on my mind after reading the thread so far. I’m sure my comments will get picked apart like a legal court case but hey, it’s a free country.

I'll add my thoughts, as I'm not an expert in this field. BUT... emailing/texting/phoning someone and telling them (do this for me or I'll do that to you) is blackmail to me. Many companies do play dirty, but I'd imagine that many of them do not directly say "give me this or I'll do that". Stealing designs and copying someone elses work is something different. In any event...I think we can all mostly agree that TORK doesn't' do themselves any favors.
