EK1Pro Tune - Sixth Element

Any update guys, surprised nobody posted a review yet.
So I'll post a quick and dirty real quick. I've been in contact with Nate who's been busy with family issues and am awaiting an unlock file from him specifically needed for the Siemens Sim2K-250 and 260. I have no issue waiting as they are launching a new site that they say will streamline ordering and receiving tunes and you can even see they took the site into maintenance mode to prepare for the launch (https://sxthnk.com/). Based off of Nate's correspondence, it looks like it should be premiering in the next two weeks. I probably wont be purchasing a tune until after the new year but will be sure to update here when I either get more info or purchase a tune.

Whats the difference from the 250 and 260?

Also, are the ECU and TCU in different files or one?

I think the guys that got them mainly posted on FB forum and there have been a few bugs to work out. I think you may see some updates in the coming weeks.

The 250 is for the 2.0 Stinger and the 260 is for the 3.3 Stinger. And the ECU and TCU tunes will be separate purchases and separate files.

I’d be interested is seeing other people’s experiences with this, are you able to link which forum/post you saw that in? Sounds like I’ll need to redownload facebook.

He just updated all the patches they have in databank and I happened to find mine. Now I flashed my stock ECU with their stage 2 flat boost tune. It was snowy today so there’s no way for me to pull any logs. I’ll wake up early and call every single shop that has AWD dyno in my city to see if I can book a dyno test ASAP.

Same I was able to patch my ECU, have not purchased a tune yet
Considering my options

N75 has calibrations for ~680$ with 3 extra revisions

Tork has a couple tiers with revisions included as well
currently considering their stage 1,1+,2,2+
prices go from 400$-900$
Seems he’s got some extreme tunes for 3000-5000$ rent a tuner as he calls them ideal for some just not me

There’s Sxth element as well priced around 600-800 with revisions

And then the one I believe you got from
Ek1 sxth website can’t see the price or the credit cost until I buy the starter pack of 390$
If you can share that info would be appreciated

Also waiting on Terry to release his tunes that may incorporate to the JB4 a bit better since I already have it and cpi kit as well.

Info for SXTH stage 2 flat boost. the $399 for 1700 credit is not enough to cover the cost of this tune since it costs me 2100 credits. Revision might just need extra credits but considering mine current peaks at 22 psi, I might want to dail it back with a revision if JB4 map8 shaves off too much boost.

Sorry for couldn't share any useful JB4 logs for now because my city just had a snow storm and the road is too slippery for a full 3-4 gear pull. Wheel spin kills advance timing which makes my log unreadable and useless. I'll probably book a dyno session next Tuesday if the road is not cleaned enough by this friday.

I believe the JB4 allows you to also dial it down on map 6 you can use it to remove psi.
I have been using JB4/cpi and try to hit 20-21 psi . depends on weather conditions elevation etc.. it’s different for everyone.JB4 rev28.webp

So based on their prices a tune from there needs 2100 credits so a total~ $514(1700+500credits) and revisions are extra .

Looking forward for that dyno and logs thank you for the info so far.

I’ll update to this firmware for sure. 2 psi off can definitely give me extra timing considering I’m using pump gas 93 + 80/20 meth. Also I have no idea if revisions are extra or not. It might depends on if you’re looking for a custom setting based on a current map or your tune is not performing well. I think most tuners will cover the second scenario.

anybody running the stage 3 sxth tune?
thinking about switching over!

Stage 3 Sixth tune is for Hybrid/Big Turbo Cars only from what Nathan told me a while back, Stage 2+Meth is what you want for Stock turbo cars on Meth/CPI/BMS HPFP

Figured stage 3 was stage 2+ meth as they dont have an selection for stage 2+ meth

Its under the fuel selection, however what I said could have changed now, so it may be best to reach out to him and ask.

I have it. Working out a few bugs on the software side of things but the overall process of flashing and unlocking is super easy.

Here is the update you guys looking for. This the the backend flash and the boost is controlled by JB4. Apparently 600cc nozzle is not enough for this amount of timing and boost. A new revision with richer afr and ECU 0.4 bar launch+disable TCU launch should be coming soon. Unfortunately my cat is clogged by Lozic bubble tune(code disabled with his tune so I have no idea when does that happened until I switched to sxth). I’m having hard time adding boost with JB4(map5 peak at 18-17psi after gear change should be an obvious evidence).Luckily it’s just clogged with carbon buildup and it’s cleanable with off the shelf cat cleaners or even just xylene. I’m currently running -2 psi across the map than yesterday while having 2 psi higher boost. It should be clear that those cleaners are working it’s magic.

Looks great and stable!

Q:
- Do you have unlocked stock ECU with timing and high fuel pressure adjusted? Stage 2?
- Is also torque limit unlocked?
- So with that you still use JB4 to manage tunes?
- How did you unlock ECU and did you flash it with EK1 bye yourself? Or is it possible to put timing and other files into ECU by JB4?

Also tell us about the 0,4 bar launch, seem so right to have a launch that stays at that boost.
