dba Brake Rotors

The prices that are floating around for the DBA offering are stupidly insane. Over $700 for a pair of front rotors is nuts, particularly when you can get 4000-series T3s (slotted and heat treated) for a VF Commodore SSV-Redline for < $500 for a pair, and they're actually larger than the Stinger fitment.
Wait until they are out for a while the price will drop.

Just spoke with an AU Stinger Facebook member who paid AU$690.00/pair @ Supercheap in VIC.
We both agreed that pricing should be about AU$450 - AU$500 for the pair.

Was that the T3 slotted, or a lower-level part?

Pricing on the front rotors is now getting competitive, I was quoted $275 ea. last week here in Sydney & another post on Facebook was quoting $270 ea.

The OEM brakes are already solid. They are by magnitudes the best brakes I've ever had. However, I want to upgrade too. Something about track spec brakes engages my need to have a higher performing car than is necessary for just road driving. I've read on here and seen videos of driving the Stinger on a track: how the brakes after a few laps can start to fade. Now, this isn't going to happen on the open road, so why pay any mind to OEM brakes fading on a track? Because I want to know that my Stinger could go lap after lap, should I ever be so inclined to avail myself of a day at a track. It's like opting for UHP summer tires (or A/S for that matter), instead of HP tires or even less. I want my Stinger to be equipped with overkill performance tires (aka UHP, of course:p); and overkill performance brakes. But I can wait for the brakes (I think) until they are worn enough to need replacing.
So your brakes aren't pulsating? I think I'm on my 3rd set of rotors/brakes due to the "warping" issue. At 36K the warranty on the brakes runs out... I'm almost at 30K miles. I'm afraid they will keep on warping... so any upgrade to brakes/rotors would be welcomed after 36K mile brake warranty runs out. The Kia dealership said the ones they just installed were an upgraded part number, but the warping still came back... I'm beginning to question Brembo quality. Does Brembo make the pads and the rotors or just the pads? This is the only concern I have with my Stinger is the brakes... :(

Stop torturing yourself with this and get some aftermarket pads. The pads are the issue, not the rotors. Khartunzer has several kinds. Not very expensive either.

So replace the pads - will the rotors go back to normal? I had read the pulsating was pad material sticking to the surface of the rotor. Or should I get the rotors replaced one last time then immediately put on the better pads? Suggestions...

I replaced the rotors and put aftermarket pads on. I am 10K in and no vibration has returned.

Where can I get this nice looking Brake Rotors?

That is the go-to thread on the topic of pulsating brakes. Glad you found it! My brakes have worked flawlessly, also for nearly 30K miles.
So did you do the "fix" by using some hard braking to get rid of the pad residue - then replace the pads with aftermarket? If I don't need new rotors and can simply do the "DIY Fix" I'd do it. Also I see a couple of aftermarket pads, which ones do you have?

Nothing. I'm still on the original OE pads and rotors. I've only had to stand on my brakes a handful of times; and no change in brake smoothness resulted. The rest of the time, I'm a "coaster" and downshift, or just let the engine do the downshifting, which it does rather well, by the way. I think I'm going to get 40K plus out of my pads at this rate; and my rotors will probably last as long as the car. (Unless I succumb to temptation and replace pads and rotors at the same time, with higher performance aftermarket ones: I subscribe to all the "brakes threads" to keep informed on what's available and recommended; so far I have no favorite aftermarket brand that I would choose over another.)
