Burger Tuning JB4 for Kia Stinger!

Added v13 BETA firmware to get some feedback and logs on the minor changes.

v13 BETA

1) Adjusted boost scaling in JB4 app to reflect ~10% higher boost levels to better match up the JB4 with external boost gauges.
2) Revised double PID fuel control system for smoother performance and easier user adjustment
3) For people who prefer to custom tune improved user interface for user adjustable fuel control. Enabled by setting options bit1 on, the fuel bias values will now represent the "target" air/fuel ratio. e.g. 120 = 12.0:1, 125 = 12.5:1. Actual AFR will generally be richer than the target. Current logic allows for leaning AFR from factory only. The default JB4 setting is 120. You may require a JB4 Mobile app update to allow values of more than 100 under fuel bias.
4) Logical changes to facilitate upcoming electronic wastegate (EWG) control.
5) Increased sampling speed while logging is active to further smooth out performance.
6) Revised map4 VALET map to make it more usable.
7) Revisions to E85 auto tuning map for those equipped with a Fuel-IT Flex Fuel sensor.
8) This firmware is the same as V13_T13 firmware for those who have been helping test it.

#3 change only applies for map 6 right?

I updated to this version and all my fault codes went away. Thx! I will test it out

Your situation I don't think is firmware related. But always good to update. :)

How come they went away? Should I still do those recommended tests you said in the email?

For any tech support questions specific to your car you'll have to use email, it's not practical to do that stuff on forums. So if there are still questions on whatever I asked last just reply to the email with those questions.

Ok.

I did post #4 behind the 2 big turbo guys in Korea and you and although I have the snip I couldn't use it beast mode(flashing) Couldn't keep the tires underneath her.
You are a bad boy "The Madhouse"

By popular demand we've start also carrying the Denso "2step" IKH27 plugs, which are 1 step colder than the well proven IKH24 plugs. Not sure yet if they are any better but those who are highly modified and regularly run 20psi or more would be good candidates for them.

What is the gapping recommendation? :)

I suggest 0.020 for them, but I know you are running the full gap and getting away with it.

Yes but I wonder if it is optimal, so I will try gapping them next time.

What does #2 mean? double PID fuel control?

#2 only applies to people who are in to custom tuning and want to adjust their own air/fuel ratio differently than BMS' suggestions.

Quick question - when adjusting AFR's via fuel bias values, does it potentially change my timing or my boost? I guess I just want to know exactly how the JB4 convinces the ECU to add/remove fuel...

Yesterday I installed the PNP fuel wire adapters!
I really like the fact that its now super easy to remove and plug back the fuel wires without worrying about tapping the wrong wire or worse dropping the little positap inside the engine bay (happened once lol).
I will probably add some black tape around the positap connection later to make it stealth, thing that I couldn't do before because it wasn't a permanent connection.

Price isn't cheap but the fitment is perfect and peace of mind is earned.

The AFR adjustment is independent of boost and timing.
