Burger Tuning JB4 for Kia Stinger!

You can set "meth trigger = 1" to activate WMI on all maps, but only map8 has the progressive safety, where boost is raised as a function of WMI flow. Which is the best way to run it.

Thanks Terry!

What is the difference between map 5 and map 7. I am trying to understand what they really do on the top end?

Does the WMI map 8 run more boost than the other maps 5/7?

Do you recommenced the 1 gallon or 2 gallon?

Map5 requests a fixed profile of up to 7psi over stock. Map7 requests a fixed profile of up to 8psi over stock.

Map8 is a variable boost map based on the WMI additive setting and WMI flow. And can run anywhere from map1 levels to map7+ levels depending on the additive setting. The additive setting is how aggressive you want the tuning under full WMI flow.

For a 1/4 mile rune would you recommend to run map 7 and activate WMI or run map 8?

What would net the better time? I ask because you say map 8 can have boost levels from Map 1-8 being progressive, where map 7 would just start at map 7 and stay on map 7?

Any thoughts on this?

I run map8 with a 70-80 additive for 1/4 mile on E30. Depending on conditions and how high I want to push up boost. I want the safety to avoid knock until WMI is fully flowing and drop boost if WMI stops flowing. Especially during the 1/2 mile runs we often do.

Excuse my ignorance, what do you mean by 70-80 additive?

Between 70 and 80 of additive, depending on circumstances.

You mean 70 percent meth and 30 percent water ? Is that what it means

Is 50/50 meth mix boost juice? For a 70/30 mix can I just run windshield fluid blue ? I was reading the windshield fluid blue is a 70/30 mix.

What is the safest and best to run ?

70 additive means 7.0 psi of additive boost ob top of ECU boost under maximum WMI flow, and 80 additive means 8.0 psi.

Thank you !!

I was confused lol. Still use 50/50 mix boost juice? And do 70 or 80 additive. Also I add that on a jb4 screen ?

Boost additive.

@Terry@BMS Or anyone that can answer this question.

What is the difference and which one is better for the BMS WMI system?

Why is one red and the other clear?

So what are the really bad reasons that you shouldn't use the washer fluid tank as a meth tank?
Not debating the use of 30/70 washer fluid or 49/51 purpose mixed meth, just the tank location.

The reservoir is already there, it's a decent volume, another bulkhead could be added pretty easily I'd imagine. Then you could run both from the one tank, Have shorter lines, not have anything inside the cabin.
I get that it is flammable but your washer fluid is already in there under the hood, by the engine, and it is 30% meth.

I am not expert on meth.......But that doesn't sound too safe.

I am sure there are safety reasons not to use the washer fluid reservoir.

this video shows the boost juice cannot be ignited with a lighter. I'm new to all of this so someone will have to tell me what the concerns are. If your car is on fire your screwed either way.

That's a brave son of a gun LOL

That's all I have to say.....I would of not try that myself.

How though?
Positives / Negatives / and a wash (=)
+You won't need to install a separate tank
+You will have shorter lines all consolidated in one area of the car, you won't have to tear up the interior to run lines / mount tank
+You won't have meth inside the cabin
+An uninstall would be easier and quicker
+If you used washer fluid you could tell the wife that it always needs to be topped up with each trip to the fuel pump for some strange reason
=There is already flammable liquid in there. (or apparently not flammable)
=You will have lines caring meth through the engine compartment regardless.
=Per my reading boost juice can be used as washer fluid / ice melt on the windshield
-Need to add a bulkhead to the washer fluid reservoir and make sure it does not leak

I don't think I can get the 30% meth stuff in South Carolina, does that count as a negative? lol. Normally you need the -32F stuff for it to have meth in it
