Burger Tuning JB4 for Kia Stinger!

That was the faster 0-60 Map2 run. Only got to ~82mph and let out (too many deer).


I noticed mine is hooking better with the JB4 overall, too. Maybe the ESC with the extra power is taking over the spin better.

The wheel spin I get now appears to actually catch both tires and swap back and forth rather than just one wheel the whole time.

Terry, is it possible the ESC reacts better with the added power?

It's off, boost by gear on user adjustment page. Enjoy the traction, I wish I had it.

I guess the only sure way to tell is with a Dragy

That's interesting you say that TwinSnails, I feel in mine its tighter and not as loose feeling but I thought that may be down to new Eibach progressive springs that just deal with putting down the power.

It also feels as though the power is being pulled down by something in the computer but that may be the gear change

No seems fine to me, real test would be 1/4 mile traps for example. Beg, buy, or borrow a dragy.

Questions regarding your notes for v6 update @Terry@BMS

1) Fixed bug with boost by gear kicking in under low throttle, will only phase in over 70% throttle now.
2) Revised pedal input mapping for smoother and stronger partial throttle performance, and less throttle closure during shifts.
3) Adjustments to map boost profiles.
4) Revised fuel control algorithm.

Number 2: In layman's terms, does that mean more aggressive acceleration with less pressure on the pedal? Similar to switching from Comfort to Sport mode?

Number 3: Can you elaborate on the adjustments made? Are we talking about more/less PSI on each map? Were all maps updated or specific ones? If I remember correctly when we went from v1 to v2 one PSI was added to each map. Is this a similar adjustment?

2) Yes, adjusts the pedal input to boost target profile. Similar to going from comfort to sport.
3) Wasn't significant enough to bother documenting, but when looking at your logs you may or may not see the differences under the "target" parameter if interested.

Yes. Stock cat back after the secondaries. Trying to keep it quiet lol. We’ll race with out exhaust. Hopefully weather holds.

You get a CEL from deleting the primaries? Was the JB4 able to remove it if so?

No cell. JB4 had nothing to do with it. It has hfc and spacers on the secondary sensors
