I just actually finished running it threw the fire wall super easy. Just used a old school metal hanger. Even used my dremal to notch out plastic so wires don't hit nothing when closing the hood. I should of just did this yesterday! Its easy!
Hell yea man. I feel a LOT more confident after our back and forth. Planning on installing this coming weekend! Are you running 93 or a mix?

91 where I'm at. I will figure out a mix once I get going!!!

I bought a JB4 a few weeks ago and finally got around to the install. Some thoughts:

Thanks for this awesome thread and KellyD's pictures! These were a huge help.

Passing the ODB2 cable through the firewall was a colossal pain in the ass. The '20-'21 2.0T models only come with a foot-actuated parking brake, and the parking brake itself is right in front of the grommet. It took multiple rounds and various methods before I finally got the cable pushed through.

The parking brake doesn't leave enough room to even move the carpet flap out of the way. There is almost no room to maneuver fingers or tools behind the brake.

I eventually taped the cable to a thin trim removal tool and shoved it out the top of the grommet and into the firewall. Success!

At this point I can't say much about the performance of the JB4. I also replaced the plugs with the HKS plugs (gapped at .028). I ran into an issue detecting my unit with the JB4 app, so while waiting to hear back from their support, I took the car out for a spin. After getting to full operating temp, I gunned it, and... well, it's "still" pretty fast but not noticeably different from stock.

More to come once I get better visibility into the JB4 via the app, but hopefully this info is helpful for other 2.0T owners.

Gap the plugs to .022 or 0.24. It is recommended by BMS. It helped with mine as I did the same thing first!

Ditto on the plug gap..........necessary for best combustion under boost.....dont' know what map you are at but i had a difference even on map 1......map 2 better.... map 3 gets the 2.0 down the road in a hurry....i dont' even drive the car without at least map 2....log, log, log, then log again......

Can anyone help with the fuel wire ADAPTER for the 2.0? Is the signal wire the RED wire, OR the black wire on position 2?

That's what I thought. I watched a video on how to install on a 2.0, and the guy used the red wire to puncture. Just want to be 100% sure before I hit the wrong one. Thanks!
Anyway to know whether the fuel wire adapter is working as it should? I installed it but don’t feel the difference at high rpm on map2.

If you positapped the black wire on the adapter, it's correct for the 2.0. I would email a graph to Terry to take a look at.

Educated guess here but if the fuel wires are connected "properly", you should be able to see the difference using the phone app and choosing the AFR meter. Again, this is an educated guess but if you want the info straight from the horse's mouth, email the support guys at Burger Motor Sports.

Thanks guys, will do that. Just got to find a road to do a pull, kenna of hard in SG

Yeah, I'd say so.....

Haven't seen any Dyno graphs for 2.0 with JB4. You may have seen my other posts to include my Dyno with mods and Racechip RS. Just swapped over and installed the JB4. Huge difference so far. I'm not sure but the Racechip RS may have been the equivalent of the Map 1 on the JB4. Hard to believe my car has gotten WAY WAY faster than it was. My mods may be helping as I have read that the JB4 responds to mods better than Racechip. There is no pause in gear changes as with the Racechip......just a constant pull. I can feel my rear tires almost losing bite when I go WOT at 30, 40 and 50 mph. My mods are Custom Catback Race Exhaust, HKS plugs, Injen Intake and XLR Throttle Controller. I'm looking at getting on the Dyno this weekend and will do 3 pulls on Maps 1, 2 & 3 (running Shell 93 with STP Octane booster for Map 3 to get logs). Fuel wire not hooked up yet. No E85 in my plans but if so, I will probably add Oil Catch Can, Blow Off and possibly upgrade the Intercooler. Standby for the Dynos.

Thanks Robs! My first time seeing Dyno numbers on the 2.0 with JB4. I've searched many threads.....or so I thought. Nice numbers by the way.

Question: I thought the base whp for the 2.0 was 199. Any mods other than the JB4 if you don't mind?

I was told to call the shop this morning to squeeze in Dyno time. Map 3 will be my highest for now. Hopefully they can get me in. Will post today if I'm a go.

Welcome! Am on an Injen intake and secondary catless. It’s hot and humid here so stock numbers are lower due to the climate.
