3.3TT AVAILABLE NOW... SSR PERFORMANCE Power Pack 3 Development!

where are the bolts used bottom of downpipe? some had pics of awd brackets installed? where does the black bolt go??

Hey man, please go ahead and give us a call if you can't figure it out. It is exactly as the instructions say. You will immediately see the reasoning for the short bolt on that corner when you are under the car as it is needed for proper clearance. Call us and we can further explain.

Unfortunately I don't have easy access to an AWD Stinger currently or I would make a video showing you guys. Will do it in the future. But if you can understand those instructions and have worked on a car before you will know exactly where that bold should be placed.

Those with AWD. Please post pics and explanations of how the AWD brackets are installed. Seems the install instructions are a little vague. My DPs are in transit now. If not posted, I will take some pics and explanations of the install.

Really would appreciate if you can post those photos / instructions up. I would do so myself if I had the AWD here. Let me know how everything goes, and give me a call at (800) 438-2808 if you have any questions at all. You can ask for myself or Zayn. Thanks! :)

Hello again and hoping I didnt miss an update on the axle back exhaust. Someone said they will be shipping soon, but I thought they were still in preproduction. Can you clarify and do you have the dyno or any sound videos available for them?

I took the car to the shop to get the DP installed and they had issues figuring out the awd brackets....they had to slightly bend the the brackets for them to fit correctly ....instructions with a video would be great.....but no detailed instructions..kind of a bummer

Warning.. tl;dr

Did the install this morning. Total of 1.5 hours start to finish including a jaunt around the neighborhood.
My advise to those without access to a lift is to back up or pull forward on ramps and jack up one side at a time. I opted to back on to them. I started driver's side by removing the rear nuts on both sides and then the front driver's side. You'll use 19mm sockets to remove the exhaust nuts with a 12" extension to the front. Breaker bars are handy unless you are gorilla strong. Once broken they come off by hand.
I was able to get to the front passenger side without jacking the other side, but it might be less effort by switching the jack. Then I removed the bracing. Six bolts, all 14mm. No issues there.
Make sure you pull off both sides before you attempt to install ... The exhaust moves enough to allow for the midpipe to slip off the studs up front then pivot sown. Again, take both sides off before installing.

Bolting back up is simple. Stock nuts up front (switching the jack makes it easier) and supplied nuts and bolts at the back. I reinstalled the brace and loosely attached it to the pipes to get them in position to align in the rear. Center by feel both left and right and up and down. The flanges are slightly different in shape but it's not hard to get them aligned. The driver's side was slightly a different angle but still seals perfectly.
17mm box wrench and socket tighten these, or you can double socket/wrench. Use your muscles here... Work each one in slowly. A torque wrench might be helpful but just make them as tight as humanly possible then use your breaker to move a bit more.

Great fit, only a bit of sound in the cabin. Virtually none with the windows open. I'll have to disconnect my jb4 to allow the car to adjust to give a fair assessment of butt Dyno feels. Then I'll log and send to them to fine tune.

Totally worth a couple hours of work... Those midpipes are tiny from the factory.

Anyone intalled with AWD??

With all of your combine components, how much WHP/Torq and do you discount if we bought as a bundle?

Do you have awd?? fitment on the DP was fine it was the brackets the issue.....The shop had to slight bend both of them to fit properly ....it took them a while to figure out to properly align them i will take pics and post...

Thanks so much Angel! Your video is a great help! I do have an AWD. Gonna show this to my mechanic when I install next week! How do they sound? Looking forward to the butt dyno results!

As far as sound and perfomance i am very happy....it is really not loud at all compared to stock.... i want more sound lol.... i am waiting on the axle back....but they sound great and look great and overall fitment was great except the brackets for us AWD people...

look at my set up pow the shop did it and go off that....I dont know ssr set it up but my so figured this was the best way to install the brackets i did not use the black little bolt they provided ...
