3.3TT AVAILABLE NOW... SSR PERFORMANCE Power Pack 3 Development!

Fed Ex tried to destroy one end of the box they were delivered in. But all survived! Hope to have these installed within the coming month (when next oil change is due).

Swear to god it feels like a different car and I expected minimal changes. Breaks traction much easier. Feels stronger at every throttle. Maybe it's the combination with the JB4, but I am blown away with how much it changed the car.

I broke throttle in eco mode under hard acceleration. No JB4. It was strange the first time. I also feel like when I gun it in sport, there is more of a “jolt” when I get off the gas. Definitally more responsive.

Got it all sorted, took MAYBE 5 mi utes once lifted. The pipe was to close to the transmission as visible from the pictures. They loosened the front side against the primary cats and pushed it towards to the outside of the car. BOOM.. fixed.

I noticed that I can hear a bit of rasp when revving, But only with the door open. I assume that’s the turbos spoiling down after I let off. I’m still listening intently to make sure there is no other rattles.

Shop didn’t charge me, I told them I would gladly pay shop rates for the lift, time, and help. They told me it was no issue just remember them for next time.

I had never owned a performance car, or a car with mods. It’s taking some time to get used to, but it sounds “growl-y” now and zero extra noise while cruising.

HUGE thank you to everyone who gave me input and offered help.

I never actually fixed mine. It goes away after the car warms up, so I never really bothered to care that much. The DPs are coming off temporarily soon anyway, I will make sure to check this out.

Also, has anyone been in touch with SSR? They were super active on the boards and they all but dissappeared in October. I'm still waiting on their intakes - I'm not concerned, but kind of curious why they stepped back. It seemed like they were doing some cool stuff.

Would their axle back exhaust or down pipes be better? Any idea on power gains or sound difference

It has happened with everyone that makes Stinger products.

Think back to others that have disappeared over 2018. Thermal R&D, SSR, Pressertech, RaceChip, Importshark Mike (thankfully), Johnny Tig, Stillen, etc.

I think they make their money and move on to new platforms. Rinse, wash, repeat.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

I'd go with the mid-pipes over their muffler delete. You will gain a lot of power with the mid-pipes. The only thing youll gain with their muffler delete kit is more noise and a bunch of drone.

I agree but not so much with the rinse wash repeat bit. There are only so many hours in the day and so many dolars in the bank for R&D. They are going to put the most effort into the markets that show the most return. This stinger is more of a niche vehicle, possibly not tops of their unit sales. They will focus their money and efforts into producing products for markets with the most sales.

I think the stinger has gotten a lot of publicity and a huge amount of aftermarket support for how new it is and how many vehicles have been sold. (it did sell a decent number of units in 2018 though)

At any rate, the initial mods are out there (intakes, exhausts, a few Intercoolers & BOV kits), they will wait till there is more uptake on what's out there or find more verbal demand for additional mods.

Thanks! Do dealerships care if you have those on?

You are removing secondary cats from the car so the probably wouldn't endorse it. But if you're asking if it'll affect your warranty, it shouldn't.

So whatever happened with this?

So whatever happened with this?
They have forgotten about us. They dropped the Stinger market all together.
It wasn't large enough for them to bother with.
