I think your are doing a lot of drama, being impolite and thinking that if you believe something it should be true to others... and disrupting this thread from its purpose.Ok....For the "random" member or even "new" member for that matter....the idea of making the 2.0/2.5 reach 3.3 performance levels has been chewed to death on this forum and "throwing same amount of cash" around simply meant that if I had just $1000 to spend, I would get more improvements over stock out of the 2.5 than I would out of the 3.3....simple example: plug replacement.... 4 HKS plugs are considerably cheaper than 6 HKS plugs ($120 vs. $180) I could apply the extra $60 towards upgrading suspension/brakes, etc.....no, can't upgrade those parts for $60 (unless you buy parts from a salvaged Stinger....)but you get my point....
Back on track.....I am re-stating the fact that I am more interested in the 2.5T information, personally, vs the 3.3 mainly since the 3.3 Stinger STILL has the 3.3.......the fact the base GT has been dropped is really not "game changing"(more like economics) but a more powerful, bigger, 4pot is......especially, with the power/torque gains....now which powertrain do "you" think the "tuning" community is going to go after?????? Done pretty much everything for the 3.3 already and the 2.0 just wasn't making money for them.....but that 2.5, is a "clean" canvas.....money to be made
I still believe that the 3.3Tt will always be the tuner car why? There will always be more 3.3TT stinger on the road all year included but also each model years. Many countries do not sell the 2.5T Stinger and most enthusiasts prefer the 3.3T.
if you like the 2.5T fine, it is a nice engine and I am sure it has potential. It is a much better option vs 2.0t and I am happy Kia did this move. Hopefully it will sell well but not in my country since It won’t be offered.
