July Incentives

Do we have confirmation on whether or not you have to keep the lease for 36 months in order to get the bonus $1000 on some models, or can you still get the $7900 + $1000 discount on the GT2 AWD and buyout the lease within a few weeks?
Just bought my car this weekend, (GT1 AWD with lease cash $6500 + $1000) asked about penalty's for early buyout and double checked my paperwork. Can't find anything in writing saying otherwise. As soon as my account goes live on KMF i'll start the process.

Will they give you a payoff without going back through the dealer? For the last few years, I have not been able to get a buyout price from Hyundai/Kia Finance. Not sure if it's a Florida thing?

It is definitely a Florida thing - I've seen complaints elsewhere. As far as I know, Florida is the only state where you have to go through the dealer to get the buyout quote.

Is requesting a buyout quote from the kmf site a 'big deal' thing? I won't mind doing it if it's just a computer that does math and sends me a PDF, but don't want to get real humans involved until I'm ready to move to my bank. My napkin math tells me to suffer through the bad interest rate for 4 more payments (7 total), and then my monthly loan payment will be equal to my lease payment, but it would be nice to have a solid number.

Right on your KMF page there is a buyout link/tab. And the current buyout quote is there. I didn't have to talk to anybody to start the process. I did talk to somebody on the phone to get an update and make sure everything was working. She said I needed to send in an odometer statement. I had already with the cheque. Apparently KMF has a problem keeping track of odometer statements!? But she found it. Others on the forum have had more hair pulling experiences with KMF losing their odometer statements, requiring sending them multiple times. But in the end, buyout happens and they send you the title.

Definitely keep us posted on how it goes. I offered one of the dealers 40k for the same configuration in snow white pearl and he's asking me to come up some more and come down on my trade. Standing firm. We'll see how it goes. Good luck bro! Inventory is plenty in our area (MD, VA, DC) so shop em all : )
So i am about to do a deal on a GT. Don't want to jinx it....

Would you be interested in a Black GT RWD with Drive Wise and Power Moon Roof and Red Interior?
The only concession is that you would lose the $1000 AWD Cash, but it has a moon roof and hard to find red interior.
Let me know what would be your sweet spot and I will try to leverage them with the offer of 2 deals.

Also, in MD it is against the law for a dealer to charge more than $300 in Doc fees.

Thought I'd share as I bought my GT2 AWD at the beginning of the month. I feel like I snagged a great deal, but correct me if I'm wrong. I ended up getting a 3 year lease on my car with $5,000 down with payments of $495 a month. Lease was based on a value of I believe it was 41,500 for the vehicle.

never mind, I saw you got GT1 - CONGRATS!
Anybody else in the MD area looking for a deal, let me know Trim/Package and what you want to pay and I will try to leverage my guy.

Nice! I just wanted to see the number, not start a process yet. It was super easy, click it, pick a reason and submit, next page has your number. I'm not in it as far as I thought, buyout is 32.7, taxes included. Once I hit 31 flat, I'll buy it out.

Heck, I don't even think I'm underwater right now. Not bad.

Go to leasehackr.com, plug in your numbers and see how you did.

Why are you guys calling it a "moonroof"?

So your cars have a "moon unit"? Hah.

I’m old. A sunroof was a steel sliding panel. A moonroof was a glass sliding panel. They’re all pretty much glass so call it what you will.

Is this a 15k mile lease? My Residual was 52% on 12k lease. Does the $550 per month include tax?

It's for 10k
RWD: 10K 51% at 12k deduct 1% - 50% at 15k deduct 3%- 48 %(that's what the dealer matrix says -see below)
Includes tax/doc/fees and damage waiver ( Total of $3398) rolled in.
Only thing I pay at signing is first month payment.

The residual has come down 2% since June. Can't do anything about that. I assume your sales tax is collected up front for the entire value of the car and there are no taxes in the monthly payment. If all of that is true, I think it is a great deal. I have the same car and my payment is $600 but included a $2300 negative trade in plus tinted windows, pinstripe, mud guards and emergency kit. You will be happy with your new Stinger.

Correct all taxes are collected up front on total value of car (6% in MD).
The $550 a month includes everything rolled in (taxes/DMV/damage waiver)

I will do the deal today!
Thanks!

11% before lease cash is an amazing deal! The only thing I would caution is to make sure to look over the paperwork very carefully before you sign. My dealer added a .0004 (.00273)to the money factor for my GT1 purchase. I knew I was doing a lease buyout so I didn't care BUT if you plan on straight up leasing this will raise your monthly payment. Just be careful. I haven't seen anyone get more than 10% off MSRP.
