July Incentives

here is something I found on another forum

That one is the base model which is 8k cheaper, doesn't include tax, requires you to qualify for the lowest money factor (they wouldn't give it to me with a 763 score.) and requires 3k down.

Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad deal, but it has catches.

does your $463 include taxes/ fees/ etc? I have to pay $2,340 on $39k purchase
My quote was everything included (even damage waiver) for $569
no money down

Hi Sal,
Are you sure on the lease incentives?
5800 lease cash
1000 AWD
I have a guy in NY who gave me reasonable quote but he is only showing a 5500 rebate

The guy just emailed me back and said he is working directly off the KIA matrix that is sent directly to the dealers and that is what everyone works off.
Is this valid?
I did see the KIA dealer matrix and, in fact, in only showed $5500 cash

Yeah, mine is everything, tax added per monthly payment in my state, no damage waiver since I'll be buying out in a few months. My trade in netted 1k towards the car. Otherwise, nothing down.

That piece of paper is garbage. It doesn’t tell you anything about the part of the lease cost that really matters: dealer discount on the car, adjusted capital cost, and the money factor.

At least it gives you the “purchase option” price, which we’d have to assume is the residual value, but who really knows!

Mike, that NY guy is wrong, if you go to KIA’s website and on the document you posted, the GT gets $5800 + $1000 AWD bonus cash. Here is another way to go about this, if you aren’t dead set on the exterior color, I see some GT2s going for $44+ - $48+ sale price on cars.com, vehicles are located from southern MD to Jersey. I would inquire on those prices then tell them you want to lease based on that sale price, GT2 AWD incentives is $7900 + $1000, puts you in a similar lease payment but you get more car and options. Seems like there are more GT2 AWD out there.

Agreed.. The stealer is making some extra $$ on you... Gt2 fo sho.

Thanks guy.
I'm just a little confused because I actually looked at the KIA Dealer matrix and, in fact, it only said $5500 and I could not find the AWD $1000 rebate.
I just want to know how to answer the next guy who throws that "Matrix" at me.

It’s listed in the Matrix Mike, $5500 is for RWD, if you are looking at a RWD, the extra $1k doesn’t apply. From the NY deal, the guy got it wrong. For clarification, check KIA’s website, spec the car the way you want it and check the section to calculate payment, it will show you what each vehicle qualifies for on the lease section.

Hello

This is a deal I am working on with the Lease Cash and Buyout can you guys take a look and tell if I am doing the math correctly. This does not include registration and doc fees I am paying for that separately. I am trading two vehicles for $44,000 with $4500 worth of equity. I live in Mass and was told that trades will not reduce what is taxed for a lease only a purchase. I am planning on buying out the lease right away.

Thanks for any help

MSRP $52,900.00
Negotiated Price: $49,900.00
Taxes (6.25%): $3,118.75
Price with Taxes: $53,018.75
Lease Cash: $7,900.00
Price - Lease Cash: $45,118.75
Trade equity (44k of trades): $4,500
Lease Acquisition Fee: $650.00
Total Cost of Vehicle: $41,268.75

Push for bigger dealer discount. I think you should be able to get at least $1000-1500 more.

Exactly what he said
Tried that and the best price from any dealer I have dealt with is 49200 with lease cash but not the color and options I want. In New England they just aren't doing anything more and I walked out of the dealer and they let me go. I know this because others on the forum in my area are running into the same limit I am. Does my math look ok though did I miss anything I know I will need to pay a buyout fee so I forgot that but I think I have everything else.

In some areas dealers are working with customers, in others they aren’t. If you didn’t;t have the 2 trades, I would say go further south to find a better deal.

Do we have confirmation on whether or not you have to keep the lease for 36 months in order to get the bonus $1000 on some models, or can you still get the $7900 + $1000 discount on the GT2 AWD and buyout the lease within a few weeks?
