Now that you have owned your car for a few days or more, have you noticed any quality issues?

Take the poll and elaborate on your findings, with pics if you can!

My GT2 AWD is in the dealership for a replacement of the rear hatch glass. Went to get into the car a week ago, in the morning, and found the glass cracked / shattered like a spiders web. It was 31 and sunny out so it was a big surprise. It wasn't vandalism. Similar incidents have happened with various cars but with the skylight glass. Bottom line.....if it never happens again, after replacement , then I'm OK with that but any other scenario would not be acceptable. Its a totally new design car so you have to expect bugs, to a point. The repairs are of course covered under warranty. i have received calls from the factory and dealer, updating me on the status of the car. I should have the car back in the next couple of days.

I feel ya. My 2016 Mazda 6 had the sunroof glass explode for no reason as well. I was at work and a coworker noticed it. Luckily I had the shade drawn and most of the glass didn't fall into the car.

This is why I have a clear tint on my sunroof glass--I'm hoping it will hold it together in a case like this (or in a T-bone), and prevent it from covering my interior--or me--with glass.

Yeah although this is a rare occurrence, it's happened on a couple Lexus owners and across all manufacturers.

Just curious if anyone has done this to a console on equivalent Audi's, Bimmers, Mercs, etc.? Can't say I have, but then again I never thought to do that to a center console.
I tried the console shake in my stinger and it hardly moved, much less than the video. I them tried it in my mecedes GLA 45 and it moved and sqweeked more. Some interior bits are nicer im the merc and some in the kia. Overall he Kia feels a bit nicer to me.

I haven't found anything wrong with my Stinger GT Limited. Hey, I noticed some of you are saying you have 2018 Limited Stingers in your signatures, but your cars aren't Sunset Yellow...

No, we don't have yellow up in Canada. What we do have is the GT Limited model, which surpasses the GT2 in features. I'll take the extra features over colour (though I'd love to see the Chroma Blue come here). 360 cam is damn nice and useful!

In terms of initial quality, I do have a couple of beefs.
1. The audio is messed up. Many people have reported that the audio will move to the rear speakers for no apparent reason. I've also noticed some weird audio distortions when playing back music through Apple Carplay.
2. Dirt always finds a way into my door and trunk sills. It's like those areas are not properly sealed from the elements, so anytime there's rain or whatever, dirt, grime, and mud just accumulate. Annoying having to wipe off so frequently.
3. Not a big beef but I've noticed that my seat will not revert to my driver setting sometimes when I start the engine. I'd have to manually press the 1 button to get it to move.

Thanks for the clarity!

Mine has a nifty trick of calling emergency services all by itself! They are not sure but caused by a fault sensor. Currently into its third week at the dealership waiting for the parts to come in as there are non in Australia!

Drivers seat air turns off after a few minutes.

There is a rattle in the drivers visor.

The charging pad comes out and never sits flat.

Just a note, the percentages in the 'view results' of the poll dont mean anything... seems they add up to more than 100%.

Sucks to hear so many people are having issues though, looks like somewhere between 60-75% of people have had one issue or another.

Mine exhibits a minor version of "wind buffeting" in the interior cabin even when no windows are down - at least at highway speeds.

I notice it with my ears first - as a sort of pressure buffeting similar to wind buffeting. It is accompanied by a very slight vibration in other parts of the car, but I'm not 100% sure if its the vibrations leading to the buffeting, or the buffeting contributing to the vibrations. I've seen plenty of Tesla forum posts where their loose hatch would cause such a thing on rough surfaces.

Checking tire PSI tonight, and then it's going in to the dealer for balancing/alignment/tire checks.

I’m almost 800 miles in and haven’t had any experiences like the ones mentioned, crossing my fingers. But these things are what I worried about when buying a first year production. The one thing however was that I have a gt1 which should have the homelink and compass but I had a rear view mirror that only had the dimmer. Baffles the hellnout of my sales associate and the fleet manager. So much so that they went thru every stinger they had on their lot to make sure everything confirmed to the window sticker. No big deal, they are replacing it for me w/ the correct one, giving me a full tank of gas, and a set of oem mud guards.

Overall, pretty happy w/ the quality. Although I still believe the sport setting doesn’t have firm enough dampening making the suspension a tad soft for my liking(at least for those spirited driving sessions).

one other minor annoyance is that when opening the sun roof or putting it in tilt mode, why the heck does the vent open up?!? I know, I know, READ THE MANUAL. I swear, sometimes the car just thinks it's smarter than the driver! lol

1 month in, 3042 miles, no issues. Perfect so far. Have not checked the paint for tiny defects, though....heh! Only wish she had a bigger gas tank, like the Porsche Panamera's 640+ mile driving range....whew! Then I could enjoy the heck out of driving her for longer between fill-ups! ;)

Hit the dealer today. Thankfully they also noticed the vibration and decided to Road Force balance the tires. And the results were terrible. They adjusted the fronts and got them down to 3 and 8 pounds respectively, but couldn't get the rears below 28 and 31. They said their limit is 20, and smaller vehicles and luxury brands (BMW for example) have even lower tolerances. The fact that they couldn't get them below even 28 means they have two new tires on order.

These are the 18 inch All Season Potenzas.

My car is going in today. Going to see if they can fix the hatch rattle. Also, my sunroof rattles a lot. Shouldn't be happening on a 52k car. Going to have them look at that as well. Only had the car for 2 months and 1 day.

I'm considering the car, but saw 1 review that complained about squeaks, rattles and road noise. This concerns me because it gets worse with age and miles. I'll be interested to hear if the tires help or if other noises have solutions.

the infamous hatch rattle is fixed in Australia under warranty and automatically done whether you a have an issue or not. Mine was done at its 3000k service. Mine didn't have a rattle and after 6 months not a squeak, smooth as silk. We have the RWD model only.
