What’s the recommended miles to clean?Cleaned my aFe pro dry S air filters. Not as easy as the KN filters in the OEM air box but not difficult. Used the aFe cleaning solution. the filters had 6500miles since initial install. The solution removed quite a bit of dirt.
I had no idea what the recommended mileage is between cleanings I did find the instruction for how to do it. I decided to clean them on the recommended Kia service schedule. It isn't hard. The link below indicates 85%, 96%, 100% clean. I found that to be very misleading. After using the detergent and washing it there was a lot of dirt that came out of the filter. The water was black. after each filter. What’s the recommended miles to clean?
And curious what kind of weather you have since you mentioned they were pretty dirty.
Tested out my new turn signals to make sure they work. The Mrs ordered them for me for my birthday, took awhile for them to come in. Anybody got any suggestions on the best way to remove the painted caps without breaking them?
Gonna miss how the regular tails light up at night. I just hated how the tail light panel looks when the lights aren't on. Reminds me of a Robin mask. So getting rid of that and having the turn signals be sequential is a bonus. Plus, technically, it wasn't my $800 bucksI remember
LOL... for us, it all comes out of the same bank account.Gonna miss how the regular tails light up at night. I just hated how the tail light panel looks when the lights aren't on. Patience. Lots and lots of patience. I posted how I did it a while back. Also, DO NOT take them off the OEM and immediately install on the new lights. Install the new lights and then the last step is to install the painted caps. It’s much easier to install the lights this way.Tested out my new turn signals to make sure they work. No pins?Got my hood all shined up
Interesting, I'm considering adding them to the Borla active exhaust hahah.Today I'm about to get the MBRP resonators removed. They arent worth it to add on IMO. There's still some drone and it eliminates some sounds you DO want to hear. The downshifts and burbles sound muted.

Had the new Borla active catback exhaust installed this weekend. Coming from past exhausts (G37 /w Ark catback and TL-S with J-Pipe/resonators), this is a lot more aggressive and slightly droney inside during acceleration. That said in comfort/eco on the highways, completely fine especially some music playing - the drone is not bad at all. In sport mode it's similar to the 2018-2021 Borla catback sound profile but less raspy.
Only had it for a few days now, but will plan on recording a new video later.
Nah is a 2.slo. Honestly never have had any big concerns. It really doesn't move much..No pins?
