EK1Pro Tune - Sixth Element

brake is pressed to the floor, on top of that it was working before the TCU tune was uploaded. Tested with the brake snip, and the tires don't let go.
Exactly my point. It's not the tires.

One would think so, but the more traction the car physically has, the better the brakes work. That's why if you try to use the brakes when the car is rolling on a lift (like if you where checking for a noise in the drivetrain for example) that they really don't stop the movement at all.
It's not going to matter. The LC programming and/ or TCU programming are the issue, not the tires.

My car has more torque, PSI in tires is not low, it's on all-season tires, and unless he lives in a similar region like ours, then it's colder here which gives even less traction.........my tires do not spin.

There is a programming issue most likely.

it's definitely the programming. Otherwise the brake snip method would be doing the same thing.

More than likely. I'm just trying to get as much data out there as possible.

it does seem that it's the 2022 or newer GT2's that have this issue.

Here are 2 different ones. 1609 is just trying a quick launch. 1959 is trying to launch, moving a few feet, then trying it again.

Stock tires, which are about a month old
One thing I saw in the second log, (xxx1959) that I also saw on mine is that on row 24. the afr hits 16 which is pretty lean. Then a couple rows later the trims went up past 40.
On mine, I noticed this right after launch, even with the pedal at 100%, the throttle closed and RPM's went down for 1/2 a second then it took off again (1/4 mile launch). I also saw the afr got up to just past 16 and at one point, the trims went up to 50 (which is max I believe), then it all balanced out.
The only thing I can think of is that I had recently disconnected the battery to clear out the adaptive settings in the ECU as was suggested to get the timing pull data cleared out. I hadn't driven the car much at all before I tried launch control, and maybe this part of the learning hadn't caught up yet. It would not surprise me for the ECU to throttle down if it detects something like an overly lean condition to protect itself. It could also be the car had sat off for about 20 minutes before the run due to a ricer losing fluid on the track. Now I make sure I start it a few minutes before I run to make sure the O2 sensors are warmed up.

Got my first taste of the stage 1 TCU tune from Sxth this morning, 10-110 pull, shifting between 5800-5900 every shift, keeping the car in higher boost the whole time. That part was expected. The unexpected part was how smooth the gear changes where. No jerking, no clunks, no squeaks, if I was not looking at the tach, the only way you would have known it shifted was the sound of the exhaust.
Hi, how much was the trans tune file alone? Thank you.

I don't know who needs to hear this but the EK1 Pro is back in stock and on sale for $100 off ($899) on the SXTH site. I just got the EK1 Lite today.

My ek1lite comes today.
Can’t wait to check it out!

make sure you update it to the latest software first!
Yeah. Thanks for the reminder.
How does it update, does it connect to a laptop or something?

It should come with a cord you can use to connect it to a laptop for power, but the main update instructions are here.

just download the update files from the site, put them onto the memory card in the proper directory, then scroll to the update on the ek1 and run it

Ok, thanks
It says it uses an SD card. No problem.

So it comes with the memory card, I just put the various files in the proper folder. I assume that’s how I get the files for the tunes on and off.

No problem. I also recommend picking up a micro SD card reader that can connect to your phone so you dont have to use a computer to move files.
