Those look great! Are you on lowering springs? If not, could you measure the gap between the tire and fender on front and rear please?

So I installed my new wheels and tires a few weeks ago.

The dealers and sites I tried to buy these wheels from all said they wouldn’t clear the brake calipers, but they cleared them easily...

I’m on stock suspension.

Most people run 10.5 +45 in the rear. I tried adding a 5mm spacer to make it 20x10 +40 in the rear but I rubbed slightly going over big dips on the highway so I took it off.

I'm looking to buy a set of TSW Silvano wheels for my AWD Stinger. (I can't post links/images yet, too new)

They come in 19x8.5 and 19.9.5. I'm leaning hard to a square setup with 19x8.5 all around, so I can rotate front and back and extended the tire sets life.

I need you bigger heads on here to help me decide on the details.

The wheels come in 20, 30, 40 offset. Offset of 40 seems to work the best for front and rear, but after doing some reading I believe I'll be needing a pair of spacers for the fronts to help clear the brakes.

FRONT: Inner Clearance 12mm LESS, Outer Position THE SAME
REAR: Inner Clearance 7mm MORE, Outer Position EXTEND an extra 7mm

I've seen +3 and +5 mentioned, that right? Also what brand of spacers are common, I've never used any in the past.

As for tires, the undisputed winner looks like 255/35 for the 19x8.5 wheels according to everyone.

With a 255 in front, I bet you will need a spacer; for the tire, not the wheel: unless the "Silvano" inner spokes have closer gap with the calipers than the TSW "Watkins" wheel does: mine just barely clear the caliper, with no spacers, with the 225 PS4S.

19x8.5 + 30 all around will be almost perfect for a flush fitment. 255/35/19 may rub the front struts and I would just advise you to do 245/40/19 all around. (You won’t rub or need spacers and you’ll have a bit more sidewall for a better ride)

19x8.5 +20 w/ 255/35/19 will work up front but you might get some poking.

Thanks for the help. I've went ahead and purchased TSW Silvano wheels. Front 19x8.5 +30, Rear 19x9.5 +40. I'll use the stock tires on them for now until they wear out. Will post pics once winter is over and they're on the car.

Hey there! Just had a question.. I got a gift of 18x9.5 +38 wheels from a friend, typical WRX fitment. Trying to figure out what size spacers I should get to mount them on the front without issues. I was thinking 10mm would work? I'm currently on Eibach springs.

not sure if 18x9.5 will fit up front, I don't have record of anyone doing that width with 18s. You'd likely need around a 15mm spacer probably but you have to make sure the wheel itself doesn't contact anything, best would be to pull front wheel and test fit it.

I can’t thank everyone enough for contributing to this thread. I think I just need a few opinions before I decide. I have a GT2 AWD, will be lowered with Ark GTS springs (only 1/4 inch lower that GT-F). Front wheels are 19x8.5 +30 rear wheels 19x9.5 +38. 245/40/19 seems to be a standard is someone that’s wants a large tire. I’ve read both 275/35/19 and 285/35/19 , is there any advantage from picking either 275 or 285 with my rear wheel set up? Thank you.

the 285/35 will be closer in Diameter (rear 0.1" bigger) to the fronts' 245/40. the 275/35 will be 0.2" smaller in diameter. Both will work perfectly fine and you'd probably not notice too much of a difference between the 2 sizes but technically you should get more traction from the wider meats.

You def don't want 285/40/20, that's gotta be a typo, no one is running 40 aspect ratio on a 20" wheel, it'd be huge at that width as the aspect ratio %width that makes up the sidewall height. generally the aspect ratio goes down the wider tire you use or the bigger wheel.

Are there changes to the bolt pattern on the '22's vs previous years? I'm looking at swapping GT-Line wheels between the 2021 and 2022 models but my sales advisor said another customer tried this unsuccessfully.

Looking at the 2021 and 2022 vehicle specifications show that both years are 8.0Jx18 and have the same width tires (P225/45R18). Is there anything else to check?

I don't believe that sales advisor. All Stinger wheels have been interchangeable the entire time; why would that suddenly change?

Bolt patterns and sizes haven't changed in the entire run, Do note that there is 2 different styles of lug nuts though, Tappered seat and Mag seat, make sure you use the proper ones on whatever wheels you're running.

Need fitment advice. These Apex VS-5RS are by far my favorite wheels for a bunch of reasons: face design, weight, concavity, 1/2 off replacements (because potholes). But the manufacturer is small (also responsive to questions) and produces their 5x114.3 wheels for mustangs and so doesn't know how they fit on this platform. I'm an AWD G70 if that matters.

I'd like to keep 19" if possible but I'd do 20" if it means they'll fit. Here's their production/timing estimates for the various sizes. Would 20x9.5 ET35 fit in front? And 20x11.5" ET52 in back?
