That’s a great deal! We wanted AWD but they hardly carried any down here on the Redneck Riviera. They were some great times. I got mine in Dec 2019 but GT2 AWD for same price before taxes.

Welcome to the Stinger club. Where you at?. Damn this Covid really had sku'd prices. I got my 2020 Gt Ltd New with 8/200k warranty for just under $51k taxes and everything in.Cdn version 3.3 GT AWD 2019, red with carbon fiber trim. Paid 47k plus added 2 year warranty and add-ons 53k total.
What dealership in Texas did you go to? I am having a terrible time finding dealerships willing to sell for MSRP and not $3,000-$4,000 over itUnfortunately, I had to fly out of state to purchase my vehicle. I purchased in Texas to be exact. The sales tax is 6.25% and increased the price by roughly $2k. The local dealers in LA wanted anywhere from a 5k-10k dealer mark up. The reasoning being chips. I simply wasn't interested in paying those types of prices for a new car. A 300 airline ticket beats 5-10k in additional expenses.
I completely understand that, but it's not like I am asking for 2% over invoice. I am asking for MSRP. Not paying dealer markups. Can understand there is no wiggle room right now. Was at my local dealer for an oil change. His lot was basically empty of vehicles. New and used.

My local dealer has a 2018 GT with 76000km for $38k and a 2021 Neon Orange Gt Ltd for $66518.. $24k more than I paid for my 2020.It's illegal to sell over MSRP in Canada...
There's no stock here either though.
I actually wonder how much cheaper it would be to buy a Canadian car and take it into the US. the exchange rate is .80 currently. A new stinger here is $50,495 CAD which translates to $40,396 USD.

i think that is a great deal and a great monthly payment for a stinger.2022 Stinger GT1 (Metallic SIlver/ Red Interior). Lease 3 yr/ 15,000 Miles (428 a month) with a trade in of a 2018 Accord 2.0T w/ 60k miles. Had about 6,500 of equity in it I put down, got roughly 2,500 lease cash on the MSRP (no Markup) - buy out is around 25k which I possibly will do. It was hard to find a new car to be honest and it was very hard negotiating. Not sure if I got a good deal or not but YOLO.
Again this is in today's market .. I did not pay a ton of attention to anything but the payment and risidual / buyout. Got it to 55% residual so I have a buyout of $25,000 which I am comfortable with for a 3 year old GT1 with 45k miles and my payments will total roughly 15,000 into it (5,000 a year). So I get a stinger new for essentially 40,000$ which I can justify$6,500 equity, plus $2,500 incentive = $9,000 off of the MSRP. I'm guessing the payment, without the $9K down, would be about $600 a month. So I'd say it's a fair deal in today's market.
Pretty much - not to mention the 6500 was just inflation and I had that car for a year at 4,000 in payments no down most of the lease cash offset it. I guess when you really want something you will try and justify it 30 different ways. HOPEFULLY THE CAR IS WORTH 25K WHEN 3 YEARS COMES AROUND!!!!$40,000 + the $6500 you put down so $46,500. still probably a decent deal if that's close to MSRP.
