Canadian Buyers - How much did you pay vs. MSRP?

Yes listen to everyone else, I was in a similar boat and almost bought a 2019 with only like 200km on it but it had used car rates going for it. Just try and talk to a sales guy and see the numbers they can bring the 2020 down. I was shopping for a 2019 gt non limited and ended up buying a 2020 gt limited for about 20$ higher monthly payment. It's much better to just buy new when the used rates we're getting right now are so high. I wasn't able to get a 0% financing rate though so I'm really impressed, I only had the kia promotional offer of 1.99% at 7 years and I thought that was really good already how are you guys getting 0%?

I had to dig alot and give the salesmen a hell of a run. There's a ton of "magic numbers", "finance incentives", and "kia incentives" on top of "dealer incentives" for these cars.
It's the murkiest/most deceptive profit margin I've ever found.

Dealers reading this: I want you to make money, but making 10k off of me is NOT a fair deal. 5% over invoice is.

Still happy with the price I got mainly because they were without a doubt offering the highest for my trade in. I managed to get $50k OTD before getting extended warranty, but your deal would be much better since you got 0%.

I'm not really sure what the dealer was smoking but they gave me a trade in value 4000$ higher than the other dealers and higher than I would've got if I sold privately.

They charged you 1.99 Interest and put that extra Kia incentive 4000 onto your trade in. More sneaky stuff.

0% is the Kia rate right now.
If you want 0%, you can't get the $4000 Kia Cash Incentive. Depending on how your deal is structured, it could be beneficial to take an interest rate, or if you have no money to put down, it's better to take 0%.

Yeah that makes sense, I assumed they were already giving the lowest interest rates since I told them I care the most about having the lowest possible interest rate and I went through all the kia dealerships in my city and took the best deal. Lesson for next time I guess to try to push for more!

Been interested in a 2020 Stinger GT Limited for a while. What should i shoot for OTD at 0%

Just bought mine. $50,455 OTD (ALL FEES INCL) in Southern Ontario.
Real invoice price is $43000 by the way. Not 47000.
I'd I paid 47000 pre tax and fee for this car I would've been very mad lol.

Was that the invoice for a GT Limited?

Invoice for GT might be 43k but not the limited, more like 46k

Strange the dealer showed me the invoice price and he had only 2600$ margin after the cash rebate that was 5000$ at that time ... Good to know that there is more margin for negotiation

No, its 43

Morning. So I am assuming your price was $44650(fees included)+ tx. Was that straight up discount or did you have rebates involved.

Hey guys

new to the forum here

Been a stinger fan ever since it came out.

I am trying to negotiate a deal with the dealer right now, here the thing

Its a 2019 RED GT Limited (Canada) with 400km on it. Its been a DEMO unit sort of but only 400km
And they only recently registered it in June 2020 to I have warranty up to 2025

Asking 44899
I think I can get them down to 42k$ Canadian before taxes.

What do u guys think?

Also anything i should look out for on this stinger?

Unfortunately they have been putting regular into this thing (still performs amazing). And im also worried about them not following breakin procedures due to it being a demo.

I would say walk away. What do you mean by DEMO sort off?

Really?

Demo vehicle. But its got 400 km mileage on it so how much demo really with 400 clicks is what i meant. And its test driven in the city. So u cant even push it if u wanted too

Its basically like a new car except a few random ppl drove it the first couple hundred km. Prob just within the last 2 months also since it was registered in June 2020

The issue also is that 2020s running low and 2021 delayed due to covid

I checked inventory like 4 red left in lower mainland....

Solid deal, I'd pull the trigger. I got my 2020 GT for 39500 6 weeks ago (in Ontario). 2019s are all gone here.

There isnt much 2020 stock left here and they arent getting any new ones due to COVID.

Im picking mine up on thursday!!

Congrats on your new car. I'm almost at the finish line for my New 2020 Stinger GT Limited(Black). Looking at $45853+tx. With my trade, Ill be out the door at $48424. Just wsiting to hear back on extended warranty prices. Lots of expensive tech that could go wrong over the years of ownership.
