Unfortunately you just missed out on a group buy for these, it's still pretty high for "just an intake" but the discount made it actually justifiable instead of a pipe dream. You get what you pay for with these JT units in terms of quality and engineering, if not outright performance.

Depends on if you pay with PayPal or your bank. Conversion rate dropped across all banks but PayPals lol. I paid $630 for mine with PayPal, if I would have used my bank it would be around $600

Oh dam. That's still high lol. Hmm. Gonna pull the trigger on AEM or Injen now. But NGM is looking mighty fine with that 195 price and their gains are pretty decent.

You get what you pay for with JT. It's a lot harder to do nice welds than just bend. Injen is a nice choice, just have to make your own heat shield. In the end it's your choice, get something that you will enjoy.

Yes you are correct. I do like the JT intakes, but it's well above my budget for an intake unfortunately. I watched a video for intake covers from a rubber maid garbage bin lol. I wonder if that will work haha.

Not installed, don't even have the car yet. Got a stack of parts and had planned on purchasing first week of April, but the whole virus thing, and more so how quick the economy took a huge dump out here has that on hold for a bit.

I'm in the same boat. I love this cars body style, ride and power. Easy to add mods for one personal tastes. I was waiting to pull trigger and the world shit storm happened. Now my job is day to day. Parts in the garage and no car.

Just installed the Injen intakes on a used Stinger I recently purchased.

Install was not as painless as I had heard, mostly just trouble lining up the driver's side intake with the 2 smaller hoses. The hoses are so stiff and since things we're lined up, they sort of kink awkwardly. I have seen some pics around where people had used custom hoses, I'd like to swap them out. Other than that, everything went smoothly.

The sound is unreal though, when the BOV's go off, it's like a whole different thing. Haven't really got to push the car much to tell if there's a big power difference. I didn't notice it being much louder than stock when you keep the revs low and just drive it normally. Seems like best of both worlds.

Solid product, well made, very happy with it, highly recommended.

Awesome review! The Injen intakes are a great bargain and truly bring out the sound of the Stinger. CAIs tend to send great around the 4k rpm mark when you really start opening things up and get the air sucking in a lot quicker. They did already in some way actually. I was surprised by the border fees since it wasn't able to be sent USPS/Canada Post and they offered to split those costs with me. I am very grateful and it was handled professionally.

Since much of the free trade agreement has gone almost everything coming from the US has duty fees.

I shipped from the US to Canada all the time there are no duty fees that I’ve incurred.

Huh, all but one item I've purchased from the US the last 6 months have had duty fees added.

Have it shipped usps, shows up at my shop, same as amizon and eBay without any duty. Don’t use ups or fedex. I don’t get duty charges

I shipped from the US to Canada all the time there are no duty fees that I’ve incurred.

That’s strange. For me it’s been hit and miss, some things I duty some not.
