Rowan and Martins Laugh In 1970s
None the wiser ? expect a delivery next Wednesday-Thursday.
Ps I've run out of material I'm going to have to rely on Ollie and y, y, y, as I was saying going to have to rely on Ollie:laugh::rofl::laugh:.

Arty Johnson. A favorite. :D He's brilliant. And other than the painted, dancing bikini girls, Arty was the only featured regular who kept me coming back to Laugh In.

That’s concerning.....and very odd. Before getting the spare fob did you try the doors, hatch etc? Did it make any noise when locking, apart from “thunk”.?
Completely locked! Mirrors folded back. It was like my other car when you press the button but don't open a door it re-locks after 30 seconds or so. It was just a one off glitch as I have not been able too replicate the situation since.

Artie and Ruth Buzzie as the oldsters on the park bench and Lily Tomlin as Ernestine - classic!
(OK OK! I'll stay on topic)

put the fob on the passenger seat and closed the door, it locked itself with the fob inside.

That should not happen but I am sure I am not alone in wondering... why on earth would you do that??

For science. If you leave one fob in the car and use the first one to lock the car outside of range, which I determined to be more than twenty feet away, the car will lock with a fob inside.

(moderator notes - this is in response to an earlier discussion about lifting the wipers and damaging the paint along rear edge of the hood)

Argh, I wish they put a sticker in the cabin for this. Was trying to clear the ice formed on my wiper blades and i scratched the paint off the hood :(
you can get some 3m auto vinyl or rock protector film cut to size and place over the area of contact , EVERYONE should do this because some service attendant will do it to your car because they dont know the trick

PPF wrapped around the rear edge of the hood accomplishes the same protection against "wiper rash". The PPF on my hood saved my paint less than a week after I had it put on; because a dim bulb in OR pulled up on my driver's side wiper blade to clean the windshield.

To give me a free hand to open the garage door! I may have put something else in there too. I approach my car in the garage from the passenger side. With the keyless start i often put the fob in random places, if not in my pocket. I only posted as a warning to others, i dont do it any more, "once bitten, twice shy"

I guess we all have our own habits. The remote for whatever I'm driving goes in my pocket and stays there until I get home again. The exception would be my truck, which still uses (gasp) a keyed ignition - but also allows you to lock the doors with the engine running, and has a keypad to unlock it. Use it all the time in the summer to keep my dogs cool while I shop! :)

We already know how you can't walk away leaving your car running and lock it. But I "discovered" yesterday that if someone sitting in the running car (to stay comfy, for instance, while the driver shops; a reverse of the usual scenario for me) locks the doors that the driver, upon returning, cannot unlock the door with the black handle button. The insider must unlock the doors. Now, I didn't try the fob, because my wife unlocked the doors from the inside too quickly for me to try it out (and then a beggar woman came up and pushed the experiment right out of my head).

Discovered if you open and close a door quickly after starting with remote start, it does not shut off.

I *could* be that I didn't open it far enough to trigger the switch for the interior lighting, but it was interesting nonetheless..

Discovered, yesterday at the car wash, that if you leave auto hold on, and put it in "N", the conveyor won't move it. The kid that feeds the cars into the wash had to ask me to come out and show him how to get my car to move. The other guys before must have known about auto hold and turned it off; either that, or I have automatically turned it off before and for some interesting reason I forgot to turn auto hold off yesterday. Anyway, that was a new one for me.

Not so much a discovery as finally noticing something: Until fairly recently, I would drive with the Fuel Economy screen showing. It wasn't until I had driven with the G meter showing for a while that I finally, just this evening, noticed that no matter which LCD screen you have up when you turn the engine off, the "Drive Info" screen will replace it for c. five seconds before shutting down.

When you lock the door with UVO app, you cant unlock the car with key.
I guess if someone stole, you teenager :-) the key you can block access to the car.
