U r screwed now. Always starts small. $500 intake, 300 spoiler.I just ordered my @Jonnytig intake last night.
After exchanging a few emails I called the shop and spoke to a very nice employee named Tash. She answered all my questions initially via email and later on the phone. I was worried about having to call and order something from out of country but it could not have gone any smoother to this point. I will update when I get the Intake.
This will be my 1st "performance" modification on any car ever, but I don't think it will be my last. Super excited to get the intake!
I started tiny, badge swap and door strike plate coversI don’t wanna go crazy modding my stinger. When I got it I knew I wanted 100hp more then stock but I also wanted it to still be able to drive just as good as stock and quiet if I want. I ended up doing jb4 with fuel wires jun mids and evc and k&n panel filters and I could not be more happy with the setup. I tinted the windows and power coated the wheels black and I think I’m going to stop there. I was going to lower it too but after painting the wheels the ride hight looks fine to me now.
Sound- my son says the car is louder inside but only when accelerating. It sounds beefier, but zero increase at cruising speeds. Outside it sounds a bit louder but nothing like a catback sounds.Good to know I’m not alone in wanting to go a little crazy.
My plan at the moment is ssr downpipes.
@Roarbomb was there a noticeable difference in power and exhaust soundwith just the down pipes?
Then June evc exhaust
Then the wagner fmic
And the do the lap3
Just trying to pace myself.
After new wheels/tires and the JT intake in the last 3 weeks my wife
Is starting to get concerned.......
I don’t want her to get concerned enough she starts looking at cc bill!
Doing just the mid pipes makes the car sound a bit louder and adds some pops when slowing down. I had the jun mid pipes in with oem catback before I got the jun evc@Roarbomb.
That sounds like exactly what I want. I want to get the restrictions out of exhaust but not make it noisy in the cabin.
The only way I’ll ever go a catback is if it’s an evc setup but they are expensive.

I had a Renault RS that actually had a similar ‘fix’ OEM.View attachment 18067 View attachment 18066 View attachment 18065
Best of both worlds, I’ve had no issues with it.
Same here!I can’t decide between BMS and AP...
How’s the sound of the bms vs stock? I just have k&n panel filters now and might be looking at a intake but I wanna find the quietest one.I've had the k&n typhoon and now the BMS.
Typhoon install was a bit more involved, not difficult by any means, but the tubing goes all the way down to the turbos. A true CAI with the heat shield and ruber gasket that fits snug. Sound was a bit more aggressive from the air flow under acceleration and blow off. I did have to trim two of the hoses to make it for and has to use my own c-clamp on another.
BMS install was externally simple. No modifications needed to any of the stock parts. It uses most of your stock tubing. Sound is a little more subtle which I prefer. I don't think this kit does much to block out hear. The shields are not one solid unit, but rather use parts of the stock airbox and a new metal heat shield. The heart shields don't use any rubber gaskets so hot air can easily pass since the intake area.
I kept the BMS to stay consistent to the jb4, it's simple install/removal and the more subtle sound.
