Birthday was May 5th ... am I too late for this ?!

You missed the $90 off promo for the 4S but you can use Kato's 15% off code on any of the Windbooster's. A popular choice is the Bluetooth one without the digital screen for $149 USD. They have free shipping so it's still a lot cheaper than any other option out there for the Stinger.

was off that week and never checked the Forum ... Do we know if the $99 sale will be back on ? @Kato_the_kia_stinger any help would be greatly appreciated #Maybirthdays #Taurus :)

The $99 one is unlikely soon because they did that to offload some of their older devices. Right now, the best discount is the Kato (15%) code. But there may be another one-day 20% off code coming soon. I get to do that once in a while through my IG.

Thanks for the quick reply ... I guess I'll keep my eye peeled for the next huge sale

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I received my Bluetooth 9s on Friday (seven days from order, thank you!). Installation was a snap: remove throttle assembly with 2x 10mm bolts, power up then scan the UPC code for registration. 15 minutes, tops. Testing begins tomorrow, it's raining in Nor-Cal today .

Can’t wait to get your feedback! Did you use a discount code?

Mine is supposed to be here on Wednesday, I'll post a quick review by the end of next weekend.

In the meantime, I received an email about a sale, on tomorrow until the 21st.

I was told to share with my friends. Here it is!

I just got it now, which is weird considering it is a holiday here in Canada.

I'm about to install it, but I have read that for other pedal remapper-type units, a calibration is necessary. I don't see a calibration in the Windbooster's instructions.

Is it just plug-and-go, or am I missing something?

I haven’t installed mine yet but I’m pretty sure only the BMS one requires calibration.

I installed it, and in short, it works!

I have a question, though. I have the 4S, if I unplug it from the wire harness, but keep the wire harness in place, what happens?

Does the engine light to off? Remember the last setting? Normal operation?

If you unplug it the throttle will stop working. Are you getting a check engine light? Your post is confusing.

if I unplug the 4s from the lightning wire of the included wire harness, but keep said wire harness plugged into the car, what happens when I start the car?

If the above happened, would the car still run? If not, what would happen (ex would the check engine light go on)?

The reason I ask is because I don't want to unnecessarily throw a code just because the small thing unplugged while driving.

Plug and go! Enjoy. Let me know how you love it!

Nothing happened when I unplugged the clicker from mine. It wasn’t the 4s, but it shouldn’t matter.

Got mine today too, it shipped last Thursday from Hong Kong that is crazy fast. Are those nuts super tight or could I get them off with pliers?

I got to the plug without taking off the pedal. Less than 1 minute install!

Why are you guys removing your pedals? I easily installed my BMS pedal tuner without even removing the pedal just reach in behind the pedal and unclip the harness.

Yeah just installed it, no reason to remove the pedal at all. Watched a couple vids about the install and they made it seem like you couldn't reach the clip without removing it.

Some thoughts, I have the 4S:

1.Easy install, you can easily reach the clip just behind the pedal and install the harness in-between. I wired mine up to the left and mounted the box to the right of the removeable plastic piece that I believe says fuses.

2. Easy to navigate, "M" switches modes and the "<" and ">" change the sensitivity in said mode. Each mode holds the sensitivity you have set for it, so if you want to switch you don't need to fiddle. Haven't checked the lock mode yet.

3. i-Auto is better than I expected, but I found it a tad unpredictable in the short time I used it. Maybe it needs longer to adapt to my driving but I personally won't be using it.

4. It also removes that delay we were talking about at the start of the thread, or its less noticeable. I have my custom drive mode with everything on sport except engine on comfort, mode on Race+ and Sensitivity 1 and its exactly what I hoped.

5. I would say about half or more of the pedal travel has been removed and it reacts so much faster to my inputs. It really changes how the car feels.

Can't speak highly enough about this upgrade. Even at the current price that is almost double I would say its worth it, it really brings the car to life a lot more IMO.
