Wind Booster Sale

I got tuxmats, and my planned install involved tucking in lots of wire, so perfect lol
The beauty of the tuxmats is that you dont need to tuck wires just tuck them behind the tuxmats and run the unit next to the drivers seat and you're good to go. I like stage 2 (amber) on my pedal tuner. Good response and a lot less effort to get up to speed.

Judging from the video, I'm definitely not going to crank it to full blast! Going to have to find a good middle ground

I'm looking forward to trying the "i-auto" mode. Supposed to adjust the pedal sensitivity based on your driving habits/situations.

Gotta be honest I dont like that kind of stuff. I'd prefer to apply the throttle to my liking versus a computer trying to figure out what I want. Maybe I'm just getting old.

Haha i'm curious to try it. Could be a gimmick but sounds cool to me anyway. I don't really use the Smart mode in the Stinger so i'll probably end up just setting and forgetting too but we'll see.

Very interesting article about this kind of pedal tuners.

Sprint Booster – Is It Worth It?

I read that. Outback Joe, while being a bit jerky, is right. I still like these pedal tuners because you can get better acceleration without changing your approach to gas pedals (ie without having to slam down on them all the time)

Yeah i'm aware. These devices have been around for a while now. Lots of the guys on Audizine had the $300+ Sprint Booster branded throttle controller and I honestly would not pay more than the $99 this one is going for as I don't think their price tags provide enough value to warrant it.

I've always been on the side that argues "just push your peddle further" but i find on the Stinger, there is a noticeable delay in throttle response no matter how hard I mash it and I really don't like having to use that much peddle travel just to get the car to respond. From the videos, these devices appear to eliminate that. This appeals to me. Especially for $99.

Please post your feedback of your experience with the Wind Booster. I rather trust people from this forum than others. I am sure they will have it on sales again. Thanks in advance.

I will. I've been watching them on eBay and their website for a couple years now and this is by far the best deal i've seen. The only other sale/discount i'm aware of is the 15% off that Kato's code gets you that can be used at any time on any of the Windbooster products.

The odd used one will pop up. I saw a BMS one for sale on FB yesterday for $70, but usually it's the more expensive Racechip XLR and even used those go for $200 or so.

I love sport mode, but hate how I have to use paddle shifters or cruise to upshift. My plan is to make a custom drive-mode with everything sport except for engine/pedal on comfort and adjust that. Should be exactly what I'm looking for.

And I notice it more now than I did before I had my exhaust done, but the pedal delay is real.

Agreed. I noticed it less when I was stock but the intakes and exhaust seem to create a delay that is annoying.

The sale for 100 bucks ends today. I am in constant contact with WindBooster, and I will announce any sales once they come up. They have something cooking with their most popular device (the Bluetooth one), and may have a sale going for that. Well, a sale better then the current 15% people get with my discount code.

I am doing just that... for your exact reasons.

That is my exact setup and I'm a big fan of how it's been working for me with my BMS Pedal Tuner on Stage 2.

Just purchased this, thanks for letting us know! $99 is a great price.

So does this "override" the throttle response in all stock mode? Meaning does the throttle response stay the same regardless of car's comfort or sport mode?

While I do want the sport mode throttle response, I do want the throttle response to get faster when i change car's comfort to sport without having to fiddle with the Windbooster.

Yes. This will increase throttle response on all Modes
