2015 WRX base model with 75k + $22k @1.99% (w/ TTL) for a new 2021 GT AWD in ceramic silver. Very few 21 GTs left and that's what I wanted being the cheapest V6 available and I needed the cermamic silver. Included $4k Kia incentive. Figure my trade was worth between 16-18 but they wrote it up as 19.8 and the Stinger as 40.5 after incentive if I remember. So I suppose it was really $38k in reality without trade over-value.

Took a ton of negotiating to get it into reality - they started extremely high with a $3500 markup over the $43.7k sticker and only offering 16k for my trade.

Southeast PA area. Pretty happy overall. They weren't going any lower and even though I told them I'd be happy to just keep the WRX, I was pretty set to get the stinger and went a bit above my predetermined walk-away point.

Can anyone advice what I can expect as a decent deal in the current times for a 2022 GT2 (No 2021 around me) either financed or lease buyout...in the bay area, CA

Current Kia or dealer discounts are very poor. Not a lot to be had. I was very fortunate to find the deal I got. I'm not sure which sources you've tried to use, but I have found, for new vehicles, that Autotrader and Truecar usually finds the best current available pricing.

2019 GT2 AWD with 15k miles on it - pretty much every option available. I just paid $39k before TTL. It was also a CPO car.
I think I got a decent deal on it!

My 2018 lease was maturing in June. I started two months ago trying to get the exact model I wanted. Finally they were able to "Allocate" one for me!
Sticker was $55K, I got the lease down to $51,050. They wouldn't budge any further.
They thought that I would use the equity in the first lease(or they thought they would snip it). I said that was never part of the deal. The P&S agreement didn't have that anywhere on it!
Sold the 2018 to Carmax and turned a nice little profit LOL

Why can't I just purchase/lease the car thought the Kia website. Have the dealer get a "delivery/PMI" fee, and call it a day. I always dread dealing with these people. It's the same at any dealership.

I was actually thinking of trading in the one I am buying used to Kia against a new 2022 as I really like the upgrades.

The dealership already tried to buy it from me when I booked the service.

There are a few nuances that are bugging me. Steering wheel speech button used to go directly to Android auto/Android assistant while it was active. Now regardless of what I do Kia assistant takes over and listens. A few of the nanny features I am unable to disable but they're really just annoyances. The heads-up display speedometer turns yellow then red if you go over the posted speed limit. They put new Michelin high performance All Seasons on a 19 in rims in place of the summer ones. Kia UVO is unavailable in MA most likely due to the new telemetry law. (customer gets access to all remote telemetry Sent by the vehicle)
I still like the car though. All of the sports sedans for sale now have their share on annoyances. They are marketing to the soccer moms

I'm pretty happy with the used 2019 that I picked up. Finally got it this week back from a $1600 service at Kia.

I was a bit bummed that there were a few small surface scratches on the car (given it only has 2000km on it) but the detailer was able to buff them almost out.

Still has winter tires and rims on it as I'm having the stock rims powder coated but the winter rims look good so its not a biggie.

I did find it odd that the slot for the phone under the console is so short, had to order a 90 degree angle adapter so that I could plug in the USB wire to enable android auto. Also can't figure out how to turn on the wireless Qi charger but then again with the phone plugged in it doesn't matter.

Also, auto stop start is annoying in that you have to turn it off every time you get in the car.

I still have to do a maps update, waiting for a new SD card from Amazon. Also waiting on my parts from the KDM store (Shipping is very slow from the US currently). I am going back to get the Eibach coils and sway bars done when they get them in.

Was looking at getting a ceramic coating done and wrap the front end in PPF but the prices are a bit silly.

$44k Cdn. for a used 2019 Stinger GT Limited - loaded. And dealer threw in re-badging for free. We got $4,500 trade-in for our 2011 Optima EX+ that had 92k on the odo.

Which dealer if you don't mind my asking. Wasn't aware that they do rebadging.

I deal with Mississauga Kia. They are doing sway bars and coils for me next week.

$36k out the door(vehicle sale price + tax/doc/etc) @0% for 66 months. 21 GT Line. No negotiation. They offered that up front, and I signed over my 2019 Soul.

Crazy what the used ones are going for right now in Canada. I saw a 2019 GT Limited (same as mine) with 9000km on it going for 42k from a dealership... I got with a quarter of that mileage for a lot less. So tempting to sell mine . :) Talk about easy profit.
