What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

Joeseph...your car has lil paint issues or no bud?
I only have the chip, that I touched up and covered, so far. I think I was the first or one of the first to post about the chip on the rear of the hood. Fingers crossed about the paint sticking to the car. What I have looks nice but I will always see that damn chip.

All it takes is one. And the rest of the car can be perfect. You must address the flaw. I am getting PPF on Friday to cover "my" flaw and hopefully eliminate or limit extremely the incidence of more. The PPF will definitely "armor" my car's front end. But armor is only "insurance", not a guarantee. Nothing in the world can guarantee total defense against road hazard material. Keep your eyes open and over half a mind on your driving at all times: that is the best defense against crap in your path.

Yes, in my other posts I’ve mentioned I did get a Clear Bra on the front and then a ceramic coat of the whole car.

Got a small sub installed in the back of my 9 (now 10) speaker GT. Nothing major, just a cheapo 250w shallow 10 in a small ported box. The base GT has very minimal oomph in the low range (Mids and highs are fine), and it wouldn't even shake my rear view. I'm not looking to deafen myself like I did as a teen, but I couldn't stand that the Stinger couldn't come close to matching the 12 speaker Sony system in my Fusion!

Installer mounted it to the back of one of the seats, and I'm happy with that. Leaves more cargo room, and I don't have to worry about it falling over. Will look to have them add a toggle switch for it, so that I can turn it off if I need to pack the trunk. Don't want the sub hitting against any sharp corners! I'll add pics when I go out to my car later. I think it looks great, but have small concerns about the longevity of a seat mount.

It still sounds a bit rough during some songs that aren't supposed to have bass, but Rock and Rap are fine. Maybe layer I'll go for an amp with a remote, but that's not a priority right now.

Side note: The installer noticed the under-seat 8's, and said they're in there doing something, but it's hardly noticeable. Very interesting. One of the other GT owners said they have actual subs under the seat too (Not just blank covers), even though the spec doesn't list them.

Installed the Racechip XLR today. Throttle response in eco mode is like sport now!20180628_171159.webp

Love my Harman Kardon 15 speakers surround sound. It was number two on my short list of three "must haves", 3.3TT, surround and sunroof. Those three landed me on a GT1.

Dressed up my keyfob with this leather key holder and ring. The keychain is very nice and seems sturdy. The advertised leather case feels and smells more like some type of plastic but the stitching and “E” etching is nice.

Looks good where did you get it from and how much?
