What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

Akropovic tips, got them on Amazon. Yes to the borla catback.
Thank you! They look amazing! :D

You got the borla catback THEN got the Akropovic tips afterwards correct?

I stalked your YouTube channel btw! :p Really cool car meets! I am stunned there are so many Stinger owners here in New York.

Thank you! Last question and I promise to stop bugging you haha!

When you did the borla catback but kept the stock tips was there excessive drone inside the cabin or found the exhaust way too loud to hold a conversation while driving?

Aha, "does not fit your vehicle"; something about the "large cutout" for driver assist. Oh, well.
Check out that company tho. They may actually have one for you big ballin GT guys

I tried, but didn't spend a lot of effort, and I didn't see anything for Stingers sans "driver assist".

I dont have driver assist but here is a shot of the mirror for what its it's worth. I will say that it actually did help today with inside temps.

I have a loud car. I have exhaust cutouts just past the primaries. I haven't known tips to make a difference with exhaust noise. If your concerned an exhaust might not be for you.

The Premium and GT2 are the only two trims that "Fit". I'd like to see this sun shade demonstrated on a GT/GT1. But I never have been clear on the difference around the mirror with "driver assist": what is it up there that requires a big cutout?

I added exhaust tips to quiet the MBRP drone. It’s been an adventure. I ordered from China nearly two months ago. First shipment had 3 matching tips and one completely different tip. I got them to send a replacement, but if you look closely at the far right—it’s got a matte finish instead of gloss like the rest. I’m working on getting another replacement, but was too impatient to wait another month to see if they can finally get it right.
Did it help the drone?

Swapped out the plugs for properly gapped Denso Iridiums. Only took an hour to do the swap. Started with the hard side first. here's the tools I ended up using. After the endless suffering that is working on my '90 Q45 this car seems way more accessible.IMG_20210508_160108679.webp

The only plug that looks slightly annoying is the right side middle plug, underneath the throttle body. Looks like it requires pulling the whole intake plenum. That what you did?

In any case, could be worse... could be an engine with hot V turbo plumbing in the way.

Broke my own record :)

The only thing I pulled was the coils and the plugs. The coils only required me to use a short 10mm on a wobbly extension. The plug under the plenum is the most difficult but not bad with universal joint on the swivel sparkplug socket. I didn't even separate the boot from the coil it was flexible enough to get the whole unit out. I did turn the coil 180 and pulled it from the front.
