exhaust tips is what you need. Maybe also some trunk linerShe finally has a sound to match! Got the SS MBRP installed about two weeks ago and externally sounds great with louder but not too much louder pur. However, different story inside. Disappointed that the exhaust has so much drone despite everyone’s glowing reviews. We’ll see how it goes…

Good to know. Long way off of needing to do plugs, but will be useful info down the road. The only thing I pulled was the coils and the plugs. The coils only required me to use a short 10mm on a wobbly extension. The plug under the plenum is the most difficult but not bad with universal joint on the swivel sparkplug socket. I didn't even separate the boot from the coil it was flexible enough to get the whole unit out. I did turn the coil 180 and pulled it from the front.
I have been using these for 30 years on every car I've owned:I dont have driver assist but here is a shot of the mirror for what its it's worth. I will say that it actually did help today with inside temps.
That's what I'm looking for. Thanks.I have been using these for 30 years on every car I've owned:
Heat Shields
And here in South Florida yes it does make a heat difference.

Tips made a huge difference for me. Took away all the reverb and 80-90% of the drone. Only problem has been getting the muffler centered in the hole for the tips. Never have gotten them right so I guess they rattle a little from time to time, I can't hear it. It was either that or take the exhaust off.She finally has a sound to match! Second that. I mounted tips and the MBRP at the same time and there has been no drone. Yes, you can still tell the car has an aftermarket exhaust inside the cabin. But now most of the noise is outside the car. I am so happy with it.Tips made a huge difference for me. Took away all the reverb and 80-90% of the drone. I put a good amount of sound panels and dynamat which didnt help as much as I thought. Even wrapped the exhaust with the fiberglass rolls and didnt help. Replacing the tips sounds like the way to go thenexhaust tips is what you need. Maybe also some trunk liner
Thanks for sharing! The reverb is what is killing me every time I drive to the point of getting a headache. If it does take away 80%-90% like you say then I won’t have to go back to stock exhaust. Ideally i wanted to keep the stock chrome bumper tips but sounds like they gotta go to make the extension work.Tips made a huge difference for me. Took away all the reverb and 80-90% of the drone. You can get stainless steel tips that look almost identical to the stock setup. Thanks for sharing! The reverb is what is killing me every time I drive to the point of getting a headache.
