Installed Reese trailer hitch. Fit perfect using the existing threaded bolts holes already located in the frame from the factory.
Nice. I grabbed the third one. After two years of owning my Stinger, I took it on a road trip, I may have fallen in love again. Took a vacation out in Canmore AB, just enjoying it.
Did you try out the tow hook plate holder?Installed my license plates today. Didn’t really want to do the front but it looks ok. Besides, being in Jersey I figure if I tint my front windows and had no front plate I was increasing my odds of being a target for pull over. Tint install this week.
Also tried some polish testing on the hatch lid before I go with ceramic coating. Contemplating pre-cut paint protection for front as well.
No just went thru the bumper.Did you try out the tow hook plate holder?
I wish the dealership I went through would have given me the optionNo just went thru the bumper.![]()
Yeah I debated not going with front at all. Then said oh well at least it’s in the center and I have black so it’s not that bad. I may tint front windows and in Jersey it’s illegal so I’m trying to eliminate reasons for pull over. Still on fence about front windows. Bring it in on Thursday. I believe the ticket in Jersey is $54 and sometimes court appearance and possibly proof of removal depending on municipality. Maybe not worth the headache.I wish the dealership I went through would have given me the option
I assume you had to cut the rear bumper? Pics? How long did it take?
Thanks. That's more or less what I expected. If I end up buying out the lease, I'll definitely do it to be able to take our bike rack as well..Yes, I did cut the rear bumper. Was worth it to be able to mount the bike rack I have. No pictures at the moment.
Took me about 3 hours. Most of that time was from taking the bumper off for the first time and putting it back on. Also, got slowed because I had to file the holes on 4 of the washers to fit over the 4 large bolts.
I'm glad I'm not the only guy who's mom has a lead foot.Today I let my mom drive. She got pulled over. She played the "I'm an old lady and don't know how to drive a fast car" act and the officer bought it. She dailies a 650i. She did say how enthusiastic this car is to speed compared to her bmw afterwards.
I see u listed stillen x haust how do u like sound over factory thinking about stillen for warranty issues seeing how new stingers come with stillen no warranty issue from KMAI'm glad I'm not the only guy who's mom has a lead foot.![]()
I had originally intended to go with both the Stillen intake and exhaust for the same warranty concerns. I stayed with the Stillen exhaust but chose the AEM intake instead due to ease of install and filter changes / cleanings. In terms of sound vs factory, there is definitely drone from the Stillen that was not present with the factory exhaust. I don't find it intrusive unless I'm lugging uphill with the stereo off. It's not obnoxiously loud when I stand on it but has a more pleasing exhaust note. I just wasn't interested in dropping major cash on an EVC exhaust without hearing the difference in person. Short of that, I suspect the Stillen is as least as quiet as other non-EVC exhausts.I see u listed stillen x haust how do u like sound over factory thinking about stillen for warranty issues seeing how new stingers come with stillen no warranty issue from KMA (Kia Motors America)
