What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

Got my new wheel and tire combo. Slight bit of poke in the rear, but I kinda like the look in person.

I’ve replaced the rear reflectors with the LED Sequential lights from Sal so I don’t reckon I’ll smoke them out however, I will look into this website you sent me, especially if they are pre-cut to size. Makes the process somewhat easier I imagine.

Yeah check out the site...some good stuff on there! As Shannon said they have a 25% discount on everything right now. 30 min and 35 bucks really tightened up the look of the back end. I really like the LED Sequential lights as well...I'm considering it. Jeez...do the modding desires ever fade lol. Your car looks FANTASTIC Wolf!!!

New end links, too????

I did not order new end links. Is this something that's necessary for the new sways to operate properly? What's the benefit of installing aftermarket end links as opposed to keeping the OE links? Can I switch them out later down the line if I choose to? Forgive my ignorance here...I've never installed sway bars on any of my previous cars. Please feel free to direct me to another thread that explains all of this if you don't want to break it all down for me. I Appreciate it HD

Hard to see in the 2nd pic so here's another view of RHS. The silver stitched edge padding is about half the size of the piece on the LHS (1st pic)

As for the vent, the LHS is bigger than RHS.

Ah, I see it now, for the first time. I got under there and looked: same on our cars: small "padding" on the right, big one on the left (and my big pad has a big rip in the lower right corner and the stuffing is poking out; what are those things for, anyway?).

So, the larger vent hole is on the driver's side, for whatever reason.

The OEMs may be fine. I haven’t upgraded sways on the Stinger, yet. Just coming from my Subies’ F&R sway upgrades, the KartBoy end links were much more substantial (and have held up very well) as compared to the measurable ‘thinner’ OEM links. Would appreciate evidence-based opinions from the members, too. Prolly my next mod...or is it the exhaust? OMG, 1st world problemos...

G’day again Buzz. Mate, I’m right looking at the pre-cut pieces on this link to tint my tail lights. Q. Which is better to do the install with? The Standard Hard Squeegee, or the Pro Felt Squeegee?? I was just about to order the Felt one but thought I’d ask you first, seeing as how you’ve done this yourself

Hey CJ, I can answer that. Any flat piece of plastic such as a cake spatula or similar will do the job. It's only a small area so the smaller the "tool" the better. Important part is to keep the surface wet and slippery and the bubbles will push out easier.

Hey Shannon. Thank you for an answer mate! I just realized that’s it’s very early morning hours in the US! I hope I didn’t disturb Buzz! Anyway, do you keep the surface wet with plain water or a mild soapy water? Sorry buddy, I just wanna get this right!

Spray mild soapy water on all surfaces but more on the outside and it should work out ok. I used dishwashing liquid but can't recall what ratio....near enough should be good enough just as long as surface is nice and slippery.

PS I used to work in Parramatta for a recruitment agency for a few years.

No worries Wolf...I'm a night owl lol! I used a spray bottle with a bit of dish soap heavily diluted with water. You lightly mist the back of the decals and position them (after thoroughly cleaning the tail lights of course). The soapy water is so they side around and are easy to reposition. I didn't buy one of their squeegees. I used one of my small micro fiber towels folded over a credit card and it worked perfectly. You just want something with a flat edge thats not going to scratch the decals. Micro fiber is perfect. I also used a hair dryer to soften the vinyl. This helps to mold the vinyl around the lights and also speeds up the drying process. Once you start doing it you'll see how easy it is. This was my first time working with vinyl. It was a breeze and turned out perfect. Good luck and if you have any questions with the install feel free to PM me
