Someone scratched my paint (by accident or not) within the last 2 days and I have not found who and where.
I watched cctv tapes of where I live and couldn't find any clue. I don't even know how these marks could have happened but they are pretty deep. The steel under the paint is visible.
I am so mad and sad at the same time... I always take very good care of my car and this happens...
Have you contacted them and asked whether they have/considered other finishes or can produce them?
It worked for me not too long ago - I think it's worth a try.

It had to happen at that time and place? Is it possible that you didn't notice it till later? How often do you approach your car from the passenger side? (that said, how much cycling happens in S. Korea on the sidewalk?)

I washed the car on Sunday afternoon. Then I took a picture of the passenger side on that night and the side was clean.
I didn't use the car on Monday, then took it to work on Tuesday and realized the damage on that evening. So it may have happened either at home or at work, but I don't see how such marks can be made on a company parking building. Nobody has carts, bicycles or carry large items. That's why I suspect home but CCTV doesn't show anything. (It took 4 hours to view all the tape)
Dang. That's four hours of your life that you'll never get back.
No curbside parking, so, there goes the cycling theory.
I don't see this as malicious. Keying would not produce such a perfect lineup of marks like that. And keying makes long scratches, not bouncing impact marks. The direction of the marks is from right to left. So, someone/thing passed by between cars (assuming parking garage here?), nose to tail. A parka with gnarly zippers? You must have had your mirrors folded in. Heh, that would be ironic: a mirror sticking out might have made "them" steer clear of the door/handle.
What are the specs? I was looking into Niche wheels but was waiting for a sale. Can you PM who you bought it from as I'm comparing different seller prices. Thanks.

It helps if you pull the center out and immerse the pins in HOT water.
They clean up and regain their original shape (less spread), plus they are more flexible that way.
Recommended for any weather.
