What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

I thought you had just removed the bumper :laugh:
Just the bumper lol ha the bumper ha haaaa. No no I didn't stop till I reached the block. The picture is from high up, the car is jacked up it's not on the ground. I love my wheel hubs too much to do that.

See that shiny new looking power steering rack? It's like its brand new. Because it is. That's why the car is jacked up lol.

I had to remind myself which "one" you were. THAT ONE. Gah!:eek:

As a lesson in perspective, I've been upset (at myself) for the last three days because in trying to load my bicycle into the hatch I gouged two little spots down to the black plastic with the pedal; coincidentally in the exact same spot as the "epicenter" of your rear-ender. Other than equanimity, my little mistake costs me nothing. So, complaining seems so wrong-headed. But humans are an egocentric species, all wrapped up in our own "problems".:rolleyes::P

I hope that your repair goes one hundred percent. :thumbup:

................oh really ? What would you have done to deserve such things ?? :whistle::whistle::whistle::whistle::whistle::whistle::whistle:
...probably tried to be amusing or human like.:rofl::laugh:. Inhind sight i think it was that evil eyed mad pot smoking psycho Macedonian down in the factory.:thumbup::eek:....:laugh:

The stock wheel is actually the perfect wheel for the Stinger IMHO , just not the machined /painted finish , these look great , what did you do Dip or paint ??
Thanks! These are plastidipped. The color is Flash Colorshift. It’s kind of hard to get a photo that shows how they look in person but it transitions from a bright gold to a deep purple. Just enough to set it apart for me.

looks great , I just peeled my Dipped wheels , the beads will eventually rub off when the tire compresses against it going over bumps , I 'm going to paint them now . Enjoy them its a great look !!

Love the wheels!! But doesn't platidip come off relatively easy?? Seems like a lot of work for a temporary change? Just asking, not criticism.

Thanks! It doesn’t come off as easy as you might think (assuming you apply it thick enough). This is my third vehicle with plastidip on at least the wheels, going back to 2009, and I’ve never had any issues with it coming of before I’m ready to take it off. Also, it only takes an hour or so for a basic wheel dip (this one was more complex so was closer to two hours. The thing I like best about it is that I can change colors whenever I want with little time or money invested.

Not bad. I like those catch cans. How much did you pay? I missed out on the group buy so waiting for a sale or something. Not in a rush, car can't drive yet anyways. Also what's up with your merge pipe? Is it plastic?? Or am I just seeing things?
Edit : no it's for sure different than mine. IMG_20200314_203855.webp

Paid $419. Merge pipe is metal, if you are referring to the dark grey pipe going to the throttle body. not familiar with the term :confused:

EDIT: Lol had to google it, I believe it is plastic, never really checked.
